Replacement Carafe for Moccamaster KBG Coffee Maker Brewers Technivorm (89830) 10-Cup 1.25L 40oz, Glass Coffee Pot

Works well and much less $$$ than buying from mfg.

This carafe looks and fits just like the original. The only differences are improvements. The glass is thicker, hopefully will last longer than the original one, I’ve replaced it 3 times already, breaks just looking at it and the pour spout drips. This one doesn’t drip, also it’s dishwasher safe, original no. Happy with my purchase.

This product is poorly designed !!!!!! I wonder if it is designed and made by the Moccamaster company, or a poor copycat of the genuine product. The spout/beak are is so shallow that coffee spills from the sides while pooring it in a mug. The shape and size of the this area has to be modified!!! I am sick and tired cleaning the counter after each pour every morning.

Love this. Love the ease of throwing it in the dishwasher and not worrying! The one that came with my original Mochamaster.. turned and got cloudy. I hated looking at it. Love this one!

This coffee pot was fine. But only fine.I didn’t realize I was buying an after market carafe until it arrived and I held it. It took me a moment but it didn’t feel “right” in my hand. And it didn’t seat quite the same in the coffee maker.The handle. Instead of being a flat handle, this one has a wide channel in it that creates two edges that press into your hand when holding it. Maybe it’s a patent problem or something, but it’s not as comfortable in your hand. It probably cost more to make this handle with the channel and I get that someone might have thought it was better at disappearing heat, but that was never my problem. It sort of digs into your hand and I didn’t like it.Base: the contour of the glass is far more gradual than the OEM carafe. Feels less quality and has a little less contact with the burner plate.Look, if you need to save $10, this carafe will do you just fine and don’t look back. But if you own a Moccamaster, I don’t think you’re sweating the $10 difference. Buy the OEM.

No issues at all and in fact a bit thicker than the OEM replacement I am replacing. More like the original that came with the coffee maker many years ago. The poor spout is a little bit different but I know no issues with dripping, etc..

Lid a big harder to get off than OEM carafe. Also it seems to hold in the heat better as it steams up inside and my old one didn't. But it's just fine. I was a klutz and broke the original (after 8 years). This one came in 2 days and saved me! Can't live without my Moccamaster coffee in the morning!

Nachdem die dritte Kanne für die Moccamaster kaputt gegangen ist, habe ich nach einer Alternativen Ausschau gehalten und bin mit dieser Kanne fündig geworden. Sie passt super in die Kaffeemaschine ist aber aus dickerem Glas hergestellt und macht einfach einen robusteren Eindruck. Sie darf auch, im Gegensatz zu der Originalkanne, auch in die Spülmaschine. Schade, dass die Kanne „Made in China“ erst den Umweg über die USA nach Amazon Deutschland nehmen muss.

Works perfectly! Not sure what others are complaining about pouring? Pours like any coffee pot does. If you pour faster than the spout allows, it will run all over the place, but thats the same as every coffee pot I have ever used or seen.I have the Moccamaster and by far, glass is thicker and regardless of what ad says, I would never put a coffee pot in a dishwasher. So decent price and works great!

Excellent replacement pot. Would highly recommend. Fits perfectly and no leaks.Pours well.
