This sensor reacts to many volatile compounds — cooking fumes, fragrances, cleaning agents, even breath. Gases disperse unevenly, so brief spikes are normal. Focus on 10–15 min trends, not instant values. Allow 5–10 min to stabilize after moving.

Why is TVOC shown as a 1–100 index instead of mg/m³?

Portable devices cannot report absolute mg/m³ - lab-grade equipment required. Our sensor uses Sensirion semiconductor-oxide tech, detecting VOCs by measuring resistance changes when gases interact with the sensing material. Per WHO & GB/T 18883-2022.

Does the Temtop M10+ detect Carbon Monoxide (CO) or Radon?

No, the M10+ does not measure CO or Radon. This 6-in-1 device detects and reports: CO2, PM2.5, TVOC, AQI, Temperature, and Humidity. All readings are displayed on a clear E-Ink screen with up to 60 days of battery life via the companion app.

What is the difference between the Temtop M10+ and M10+ WiFi?

M10+ uses Bluetooth with distance-limited data transfer. M10+ WiFi uses Wi-Fi for real-time data access anywhere, supports 1/5/10/30 min sampling intervals, and offers customizable threshold alerts with do-not-disturb mode.
