SO effective. Protects against SO much more than fleas and ticks. Repurchasing for 6th time. I use this also to prevent ants around my dogs food mat. Make sure not to get in their food bowls though! :) * I have never received a defective spray nozzle, whereas a different brand (main competitor- blue spray bottle) I have never received a spray nozzle that worked properly, it was more expensive, and white liquid. This product is not thick and white, it is a light spray. *This sprayer has the “twist” cap with off, stream, and wide spray options, which I appreciate. I spray all fabric, bedding, carpet, soft surfaces in my home on a regular basis, and have never had any issue with staining or fabric damage. Side Notes: to be clear, these are not “cons” to me. * If you accidentally get it on hard floor, it can be slippery. For example, if you’re spraying an area rug or a kitchen rug that is on a hardwood floor or tile, and some of the spray gets around it on the hard surface, wipe up the excess. It’s a liquid. This is a fabric spray… and I just mean wipe it with the paper towel, so the floor isn’t actually wet. If the floor is dry, it’s not slippery. I feel like this is a “caution, coffee is hot” type of warning. Common sense: wet floor = slippery. * You are purchasing a product with pesticide in it. That’s why it’s effective. The smell doesn’t linger, but if you’re expecting it to come out smelling like your favorite Febreze, you have unrealistic expectations. It doesn’t smell bad, and the other brand I mentioned earlier in my review is worse on the scent level, in my opinion. If you are looking for an all natural, essential oil kind of deal, you probably won’t be happy with this, but I guarantee it will not be as effective as this either. This product protects up to seven months in the FUTURE. An all natural product is not going to do that.. :) My dogs are on monthly flea and tick treatment so I do not use this as the main flea control in my household. They do however love to roll in the grass and sunbathe. I like to cuddle with them and nothing else they bring inside, lol. This works for that.

This spray really takes care of flea priblem on the door. Will not stain my recliner nor sofas now carpets. Me 2 cats get drops at the beginning if summer and this foray takes me to Sept! No order nor Behring if it gets on your hand. 🩷

Works well and does not smell to bad but it takes a little while to actually kill the fleas. Started seeing results in a little over two days.

Price-wise, this is a great value. Take the 7-month claim with a grain of salt. I live on a farm & we use one of the ingredients { Permethrin } mixed with water for an excellent fly spray, and put it in rinse water when washing the dogs.....works for about 2 weeks. Toxic to cats while wet & first applied!!!

The package arrived, and the box itself was wet; the product had leaked out of the plastic bag. It was put in for transportation, and the seller did attempt to seal the top of the bottle, but it was wide open open and I had to screw the sprayer back on, and unfortunately, it was impossible to avoid getting it all over of my hands. This product can cause a significant skin irritation so please be cautious when opening.

UPDATE: I originally gave this only 1 star because a week later the 2 cats & 2 dogs still had fleas (after also treating the pets and washing all bedding). However, I am now realizing that the fleas are suddenly gone, even though I have not treated them again (waiting until next month) nor treated the floors again. All the pets' scabs are healing and no flea bites on us either! So I have to admit that the claim that this spray has a residual affect is correct as whatever hatched out after the initial spray has been killed and nothing new has re-hatched. Therefore, give this time; it will eventually kill the old and new fleas, it just takes a while since they lay so many eggs.

The good news: This stuff really works! For my full story of how I used it, read on. The caveat: You need to be prepared to put the work in. Fleas are resilient, and you can't just apply once and expect that they will disappear. You need to: 1. Bathe your animal if you have one, daily (at least at first) 2. Launder EVERYT HING in your home. 3. Identify where the fleas are coming from, and track their progress over time with candle traps 4. Apply poison liberally 5. REPEAT. Seriously, repeat. This stuff is no joke. The smell that everyone is raving about is to cover up the scent of the poison you're applying. Look up the active ingredients -- they can cause serious health effects, so don't breathe this stuff in. I experienced burning in my lungs the first day I applied it, then learned to cover my mouth with a towel, and vacate the space until it was dry. I may have gone a bit overboard with applying... but I had a Serious Infestation. I have no regrets. How I got rid of fleas: I discovered fleas on my dog on Wednesday night. I immediately gave him a bath and vacuumed everything. This was my first time with fleas, and if it's yours, these should Always be your first two steps. Then, I looked online for reviews, and ended up buying this product, along with the Home Household Spray, and the Carpet Powder from the same company. It said it would take two days to arrive, so in the meantime, I went and bought another product locally for outside. The next morning I vacuumed again, sprayed outside, and laundered every piece of laundry, textile and fabric in my home. A friend told me to put down shallow dishes full of soap water, with candles in the middle, all over the floor. The fleas are attracted to the heat and light, and will drown in the shallow water. She said to put them everywhere, as many empty dishes as I had. This was the KEY to tracking where the fleas were coming from. I put them near areas where my dog spent time, but was surprised to find out that those areas did not have many fleas. Instead, there were more fleas near a utility closet in my kitchen. As I continued to move the dishes closer to that closet (every few hours), I found more and more fleas in that particular area. Eventually, I moved the dishes into the closet, and that's when I found hundreds, if not thousands of fleas. I rent, and the closet was previously infested with rats (I know, I'm disgusted too). A friend who is a Entomologist told me that flea eggs could have gotten in from the rats, then lay dormant for months. Now it was warm out again, and they were hatching. I immediately deep cleaned the closet as thousands of fleas attacked me (pro tip: wear long pants, sleeves, gloves, a hair covering, a face covering, anything to protect yourself), removed the old carpet inside, and vacuumed every crevice. Once I had done that, I sprayed it with the Home and Carpet Spray on every surface (spray underneath, on top, in the corners, etc), then once that dried, I used the Carpet Powder on the floor, so I could see where the fleas were and, the next time I vacuumed, I could see any areas I missed. Now, every morning, I wake up, vacuum my entire apartment, vacuum the closet, and reapply the poison. Then I leave dishes with candles in the closet all day and all night (I use tall church candles that have less of a risk of catching fire to anything, and the closet is empty), to track how many fleas there are. There has been a significant improvement after 3 days. However, I'm going to keep doing this process for at least two weeks. Read up about breaking the life cycle of fleas -- they can come back if you let down your guard. I will be ready.
