Good value
Does what I needed it to. It’s decently constructed and doesn’t make a lot of noise like others in this category

The drill press seems to work ok, but the chuck is corroded stuck.
This is an inexpensive drill press. It needs to be assembled, but the assembly is fairly easy. The first thing you may notice, is that the support column gets bolted to the base with three bolts. Only one bold has enough clearance to allow a socket to fit. The other two bolts need an open end wrench. The rest of the assembly is slides pieces together. As for the chuck, mine was seized up like the other review. I was able to use the chuck key to get a 1/4 turn of motions. I think I wore out the chuck key trying to get it to turn. Eventually, I was able to free up the chuck by tapping it with a rubber mallet. It is still not smooth, but at least it spins now. I can see that one of the jaws was stuck with corrosion. I will probably oil it before I install it. I did plug it in, and it seems to work fine. It's also not very loud. It has approximately 2 inches of travel. Note: Some of the pieces have a good coating of oil on them.

Improperly manufactured
Chuck wasn't working right out of the box, unit does not work.... very disappointed... definitely would not recommend this product. I would of chosen zero stars but that wasn't optional

Good enough for my needs
This compact drill press is made solid and has a lot of good features. This is perfect for using in the back of my very small garage. It's not the best, but it works good enough for my needs.
