Cretacolor Artists Studio Line Drawing 101 Introduction Set Of 11 (46411),White

I'm posting a complete review after using every pencil from this set. Bought last year..1. Soft and medium Charcoal pencils are perfect but please use a cutter or knife to sharp them. But hard Charcoal is not up to the mark. Unable to create sharp dark lines.2. Graphite pencils are fair but still nowhere close to Lyra or Staedtler. Good for beginners.3. Oil Charcoal pencil.. This is magical. Soft, smooth and dust free. Best for dark details, background and on any surface.4. Sepia/Brown are good if you use them on heavy sheets. But white pastel is useless. Better use it with graphite on tinted sheets.5. Best paper Stump. It lasts thrice more than any regular Stump. But kneaded eraser is fair.Check the artworks done using Cretacolor Charcoals.

I Have a lot of stuff from Cretacolor, infact the charcoal black box was my first ever charcoal medium i owned after all this i really didn't expect this from a brand like Cretacolor, the white chalk is just horrible its like a white stone is carved and put inside the wood, it scratches your paper doesn't even work its like rubbing a stone on your paper and the sanguine and sepia are the same !! Charcoal and Graphite pencils are good as always!!

I liked the colors sepia and sanguine, but it wasn't charcoal pencils. There were 4 charcoal pencils. One of them was extra soft which doesn't smudge off. I don't find a great difference among the swatches of soft hard and medium charcoals, they swatch almost the same way. The white is a chalk pencil and not charcoal pencil. Its not that bad. The stump is of good quality

Expected much more from cretacolor... The sanguine and sepia pencils are exceptionally scratchy.. I hv got scratches all over the 200gsm paper I was using.. not recommended...

Very good for beginners who would like to try with Charcoal pencils for first time. Working with shades was a new experience & all drawings came excellent. It's an excellent kit.

the lead inside the pencils are broken, every time I sharpen the pencil the lead breaks.

Bought this for my friend who sketches real nice. Rated the items real good.

It's for beginners. Not vry good neither best.
