Fish eat this quite eagerly. Some sink, some flat and sink later. But they are not mini pellets as mentioned on pack, but large pellets. So you may hv to crush them for smaller fish. I bought this thinking they are mini pellets, but no. It's costly, Hikari cichlid Excel is more economical with similar size pellets.

Its the best fish food in the market... Its true - you have to see it to believe it. I have community tank with only African cichlids af all different colours and the colour enhancement is really unbelievable. My fishes are enjoying it and I am only feeding them with Hikari. You don't need to feed with anything else because it has all the nutrition your fish require. I understand it is expensive, but trust me, you will not regret it buying, after you see the result! I have around 20 to 25 cichlids in 2.5ft tank of all sizes Almost for a month now Not even single fish has died during the course since I have started feeding them with this product (of course I maintain good water quality and PH level too )

Good nutrition for the chiclids and parrot fish. Its sinking type and good for African chiclids, Malawi chiclids and also parrot fishes.

This is one of the best vegetarian fish food offered by hikari. Since this sinks in water, so my clown loaches and leopard cat fishes also love it and can eat it. It is easily digestible and hence chances of having malawi bloat is very less. Also the color of the fishes improve over a period of constant use.

its a nice food for cichlid specially African Cichilidrs, I found bright colors after feeding Hikari Excel food, Only one thing.. its Sinking food and make u r water quality bad after over feed.

Good fish food esp for less aggressive fish that stays low and doesn't come up to the surface to eat the floating food granules.. however, use it carefully in small portions as the left over particles will dissolve in water making the tank murky and stinky..

I am feeding my son’s fish, and as soon as they see me come in the room, they come up to the tank to eat! Therefore I think they love it! I noticed even the little ones near the bottom seem to love it! It all disappears in a moment! No Kidding! Good size package. Can’t speak to the digestibility or playability. but the fish seem to love it! It also seems to enhance their colors. Highly recommend all Hikari fish products.
