Celestron Upclose G2 10-30X50 Zoom Porro Binocular

simply amazing, 10x is already quite enough for what i was looking for but 30x is like looking at birds in the eyes. mechanism is simple and intuitive, although at 30x, it feels a bit narrow in vision. its lightweight and easy to carry, but strap of the bag could have been longer. i wish it also had a tripod mount for extended use so that we can mount it on a monopod. build quality is quite good and it looks like it can handle rough usage in field. definitely recommended.

Celestron UpClose G2 Series are good and affordable quality optics. Earlier i have 10x25 monocular which works great and now this "Celestron UpClose G2 10-30x50 Binocular (Black)" has impressed me. Package was delivered earlier than expected, No collimation issues found. Build quality is nice with matte finish. Focus is sharp till 25x and images are bright, though at 30x focus is little soft. Cloth and strap provided are low grade, Bag is Fine. Works great for both terrestrial and astronomical use. Tripod is necessary to enjoy full zoom. Instruction manual is helpful to calibrate it properly which needs some patience. Overall good bugdet Zoom binocular by Celestron.

I ordered the Celestron Upclose G2 10-30X50 Zoom Porro Binocular. The item did not seem to have any physical damage at the time of delivery, everything looked fine until I tried to focus the binoculars. The right eye seemed fine but the left eye barrel was misaligned. Resulting in DOUBLE IMAGE. This is straight-up manufacturing defect, clearly visible with the eye. I heard a lot of good things about Celestron and decided to get a binocular but utterly disappointed with this one. Returning it ... and now I have wasted the 99 rupees inspection charge FORCED on me by Amazon for delivering a faulty piece of equipment. Never going to order optical instruments from Amazon again, it's best to buy from a local stores and check the items for yourself firsthand.

This binocular has a zoom feature. There's a lever by which you can control the zoom from 10x to 30x. At 10x the binocular functions quite well. Distortion and aberration starts at 13x-14x. The image is quite distorted and poor at 30x. This makes the binocular pretty unusable 15x onwards. The image at all ranges is not too bright. The binocular is quite bulky as well, especially since it has Porro Prisms. Considering that the binocular is useful for just about 10x-12x range, there are better options available. At the same price point there are other Roof Prism binoculars in the 10x-15x range which are far more compact.

I had purchased it for wild life trips and bird watching and it is working perfectly for these at lower level of zoom. On zooming higher pictures get little blur even after focusing. Also it is not heavy hence even 5 years old kid can also hold it and can use it. Overall perfect for me and my kid.

Watching the moon with this was a delightful experience. I just bought a tripod adapter and mobile phone holder for this for even better usage at higher magnification.

Like it was clear good ... Earlier unit I returned as the unit has a crack and double vision.

Il binocolo celestron 10-30x 50 risulta molto maneggevole in quanto il rivestimento è di gomma ed Ha un peso leggero. Luminosità: Il binocolo ha una luminosità buona , in quanto l'ho confrontato con un binocolo konus 8-24x 50 preso dall ottico. Ovviamente aumentando lo zoom la luminosità diminuisce... ma il suo lavoro lo fa egregiamente. Prezzo: Il prezzo per me è perfetto, avendo comprato un binocolo di potenza inferiore al triplo del prezzo un paio di anni fa. Qualità: La qualità dei materiali è ottima, bella al tatto e soprattutto molto resistente e inodore. Per la qualità delle lenti posso dire che sono ottime, l'unica cosa che mi stupisce è il peso. Il mio binocolo è pesante il doppio ma confrontandolo posso dire che le lenti sono di qualità. Zoom: Lo zoom è reale, ho fatto il confronto con il mio binocolo. Posso dire di essere soddisfatto. Messa a fuoco: La messa a fuoco è perfetta, dico ciò perché porto gli occhiali e con il mio vecchio binocolo non riuscivo a compensare la mia diottria in quanto era abbastanza alta. Con questo binocolo anche essendo miope e un po' astigmatico riesco a vedere perfettamente. Consiglio: Quando mettete lo zoom non muovete la messa a fuoco perché rompete la levetta dello zoom. Lo so perché io così ruppi un mio binocolo. Per me questo è il Binocolo ideale per vedere le montagne, la natura qualche aerei che passa...

Comprei para um dos meus filhos mas achei que seriam binóculos normais. Nada disso! Estes binóculos tem um alcance brutal e uma definição como nunca imaginei. Top!!

I really like this binoculars!! But at first I had my doubts. I decided to buy binoculars with 2 objectives in perspective, first we like shooting and needed a way to spot our hits at 100 and 200 yards with a 22lr (small hole). Second we live in Costa Rica and like going hiking in the mountains and bird watching. So, as you can see from one perspective we just needed some magnification and for the other picture quality. This binoculars have comply with both challenges, the picture is clear enough and the magnification is great. I would say that the built quality is more that I expected, they are well built and have good quality glass, for the price, i mean of course are not Swarovski or Leupold, but we are really happy with them. For the weight I like it, they weight just enough so you feel them, but not as much is uncomfortable when walking long distances in mountain terrain. Also I have to say they really are waterproof, we have taken a lot of rain with 0 issues at all. I would recommend this binoculars for anyone looking for decent picture quality and a good price for a first.
