A must have for embroidery
I'm very pleased I received this book as a gift. It is a must for any embroider /stitcher. I have used it many times to find out how a stitch is done. I highly recommend this book.

Not just the basics
This book shows not just the stitches, but also their derivation and examples of how they have been used in the past. Very helpful, useful and educational. Glad I have it.

It's a big book!
This is a fantastic book! It's bigger than I expected it to be as I thought it would fit in my sewing bag but no so it will sit on a shelf. I know there is a free online stitchbank but I wanted it in book form and I'm truly very happy with it. The instructions for 200 stitches are easy to follow with step by step diagrams. You will not be disappointed with it and well done RSN for this beautiful book, 5 stars is really not enough.

Perfect stitch library
Absolutely beautiful Book, clear diagrams nicely indexed, very well thought out. Page ends are coloured so you can easily flick between sections & each stitch has its own icon. So well organised! If you can, pick one up in person, Amazon do not know how to package heavy books and so my copy was severely damaged.

The fact that this is from the Royal School of Needlework is enough to make it worthy of a place on your shelf . Good instructions and clear illustrations; very happy with it.
