I love these because they are one of the few options where the base part is also yellow. A lot of them I’ve tried the base part is white, so this white color still attracts the bugs even though the light is yellow. I do wish these came in a 13 watt size would be a true 100 watt equivalent. But these seem bright enough for my needs. I have found these to last for just over a year on my garage which has the lights on dusk to dawn. I love these color. Looks almost old fashioned.

These bulbs came packed in a small cardboard box, arrived when promised, great price. I had been using 2 40 watt, white led bulbs in my front porch light fixture. The white light bulbs attracted hordes of bugs, insects and mosquitos overnight in the warmer months. In the morning I would have to use my leaf blower to clean all the dead insects off my porch. After 3 nights of testing these yellow bulbs, the number insects is down to almost nothing now. They really do work for my porch light, and I am very satisfied with this product as a good bug light. Can't say how long they will last, but so far so good. I may switch them out in the winter time. Would buy this product again from the seller.

This was my best option for amber glow light bulbs. The bulbs are simply painted on the outside. Bulbs described as amber are unmistakenly yellow. I might have to repaint them to achieve the desired result.

These bulbs are yellow to prevent bugs flying around them, this prevents spiders building webs to catch the fliers. These bulbs are much brighter than the older fluorescent bulbs I still had, older stock from our Florida home. I will be selling the older bulbs after seeing the difference in brightness these provided. My front porch has much better light, more visibility from our cameras. Still no spiders.

These are not rated for fully enclosed light fixtures. I wasn’t aware of this and they worked well in my outside porch lights for 3 months until one night I noticed one of them flickering. As I was looking through my other bulbs to find one I could replace it with, I noticed on the boxes they said “not for use in totally enclosed luminaries”. So I did some research and found out since these are LEDs they shouldn’t be used in my porch lights since my fixtures are glass enclosed and when they get too hot they start flickering which is what mine did. I wish they had that spec on their details but it doesn’t list it on the Amazon listing and it also doesn’t have a warning on their box like other big companies like GE does. This is a safety hazard so be careful if your porch lights or other fixtures are totally enclosed!

Not as pink as I was expecting. More of a reddish-pink or pinkish red, definitely in the middle. But more red than I was hoping for.
