Great quality and used on my bonsai. More than enough arrived and easy to use. However, had to call Ncis to investigate why there was a persons hand in mine. See photo Gibbs sorted it what a man !

A little expensive

Good stuff but pricey. My fault, I didn't check the weight.

Perfect for topping my indoor plant when reporting. I had an infestation of fruit fly and after purchasing sticky fly traps which got rid of most of the flies, I then decided to repot and washed the roots through totally. Topped off with this product it certainly looks nice and no infestation after over a year.

This arrived and it was a very small bag. Probably my fault but in fairness I think with this sort of item, where it’s hard to picture the volume, there should be a picture of a person holding it, or stood behind it, to give customers some idea what will arrive. I just wanted basic horticultural grit and went for Amazons choice but this looks a bit posh like freeze dried coffee or something. I’m sure it’s good quality but it’ll vanish into the large bag of compost I’m using. This was a 3L bag for ref.

I used this to cover my houseplants soil after seeing a tip on a gardening page. The tip was right! I haven’t had nearly as many little black flies in the house this summer, because the soil was covered. I know it’s only grit but it’s very aesthetically pleasing on my plants. Drainage is quick when I water and it looks and feels quality. My plants have not been adversely affected by using it, and you think you’d use loads but you definitely don’t. I’ve hardly touched the bag, so it will last years and is great value for money.

Exactly as describe

Purchased these as potted some Heather to put on my family grave. Heather was recommended as a good sturdy plant for all year round, but had to have a good draining system in the pot and this grit was recommended. Quite fine texture but didn't come through the pot holes, I also mixed some of the top layer of grit in with the compost as well. Will be using it to pot other plants as well. It is quite surprising how much is in the small bag.
