If I would have read the description better I would have realized what they were made of, but me not reading thoroughly is no reason to leave a less than 5 star review...very heavy duty plastic great product. I would definitely purchase again. I included a picture...I added some extra 2x4 cross bracing for my own personal use. Great product and would definitely recommend

I didn’t pay enough attention to the material in the ad. The braces are plastic, but fairly substantial. Could be good or could be bad. Time will tell.

Me and my hammer drill got to work after picking up some lumber at the hardware store and I had a solid firewood rack within 20 minutes!

Affordable and keeps things in order

Superb kit to quickly make a log storage rack that is not only strong but sturdy. I was able to assemble most of the rack with pre-cut lumber from the hardware. I did make cuts at an angle for the uprights so that I can add a shed style roof like the variation shown in the ad photos. Very easy to do, assembly takes just a few screws in pre-drilled holes in the very thick heavy duty brackets. I used quality treated lumber so this rack will be around for a long time. Excellent kit, fast shipping

Pretty simple little rack. I used two 8-foot lengths of pressure treated 2x4's. So 4 feet wide and 2 feet tall. My wood won't be here until next week, but I have no doubt that this will hold it securely. I took off a star because the screws they include in the packaging are garbage. I used them so I didn't need to dip into my nice wood screws, but predrilling will make using these screws easier.The brackets are plastic, which works just fine, but in the pictures it looks like it could be metal. This should last quite a few years, but if you live in a very cold climate the plastic might get brittle.

I've been looking for a long time for a decent sized firewood stacker but was never really impressed with them, until I found this. You can make them any size you want! All you need to do is buy the 4x4 and 2x4s at whatever length you want, stain it whatever color you want, and put these brackets on and you have the perfect wood stacker. It came with more than enough wood screws and braces. It doesn't get much easier than this.
