Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) Pro Cable (3 m) ​​​​​​​

This guy is future-proofing my iPhone 16 Pro Max/2017 iMac Computer Apple Music setup with USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 speeds. I have over 39K songs on my iMac. This is a Thunderbolt 4 cable, but my iMac is specified at Thunderbolt 3. Transfers between the iPhone and iMac is now super fast when I want to change-up playlists on my iPhone. I’ve never seen speeds like this using the old USB-A to lightning cables Apple formerly distributed before that had a maximum of 450Mbps or so. This cable with my iPhone 16 is up to 10Gbps. What before took minutes is now seconds. I have the 1-meter cable. These cables are expensive, but worth it. You must be certain that your source and target both support Thunderbolt 3/4 and/or USB-C.

I'm not the biggest apple fan, but their Thunderbolt Cables are unmatched in quality. I picked up 2 of the 3m versions for a music production setup and they work flawlessly. To me, well worth the price.

I have tried multiple Thunderbolt 4 cables to work with my Dell 4025QA and my Macbook Pro M1. The configuration is MST with another Dell 3221Q. So, my configuration is pushing a lot of bandwidth through the cable. Other cables will work with PC Laptops on Intel and AMD chipsets. However, the Mac was never able to keep the connection going. I had read about other success stories with the Apple 1.8M Thunderbolt 4 cable, and they were correct, this cable works flawlessly. Expensive - Yes. However, it works with all of my machines now, including my Macbook Pro.

Best TB cable, I needed a longer one for Studio Display, Apple should’ve put a longer cable with display for the $1600 they are charging, any how I have spend more money to get one. The quality is great, only reason I chose this over other is because the cable sit very snug in usb socket and don’t get loose like others. Apple cables last long time so one has to Pay premium price, highly recommended

Personal opinion: Honestly this thing is incredibly rugged and wraps up easily once you are done using it. For me, my daily driver for this cord is an ipad pro 5th generation and multiple different ssds and usb-c devices. It’s a rather versatile cable that feels snug once you plug the cable in, which compared to other brands that feel meh. Technical stand-point: Apple went all out on the interior design of this cable, between the chipset and drivers for the signal from end-to-end. Cheaper brands aren’t going to get you the same signal or quality for the transmission speeds of 40gbps, so I would keep that in mind if that ends up being your reasoning for this cable. Also, it’s rated for 100 watts, so this might be good for people with devices like the steam deck, asus rog ally or the legion go which all require somewhere in that ballpark of charge rate. Extra: This would also make for a good Oculus Quest cable if you’re tethered to your desktop, though the longer cable would definitely be needed.

Great connection and stability

Using the 3m cable with a Terramaster D5 Thunderbolt 3 external RAID enclosure. The cable feels solid and well made. Most importantly the performance is identical to the 1m cable that came with the D5. There are cheaper cables with mixed reviews, but at 3m this seemed like the most reliable option, and so far it's perfect. Recommended.

The gold standard of braided thunderbolt cables at the gold standard price point. It runs my equipment well and without issue.
