Initially had a concern about an alternating internal buzzing and Amazon replaced no questions. Replacement arrived only to do the same thing. Tech support contacted me and they confirmed issue is because printer when powered on in an idle state, connected will send reverse electrical waves causing the units internal coils to vibrate, assuring this is not anything dangerous. So far, no issues and still happy with product.

Super loud 60hz hum when turned on. Therefore unusable with my European hifi-system. I ordered another one from a different company that has a metal housing, is 800 Watts, also doubles as a step-down converter, is way lighter, dead quiet and also cheaper! It was a no-brainer to return this thing.

When I ordered this item I was not sceptical. I need to power up European version of Thrustmaster T300 RS GT racing wheel in US. So I'm decided to buy this 500W 110v to 220v converter. The item is surprisingly heavy for it's small size. Also it works really quiet. First test passed, racing wheel is not fried and I'm happy about it! Hope this converter will work for me for a long time.

This is EXCELLENT! My only critique is to say that I wish the outlet had a "twist-lock" feature to lock in the cord plugged in to it.

If you’re looking for an up-converter, this is the make you should buy. I’ve tried several other and they were either loud, did work or heated up so much that they either melted a bit or I stopped using them. This one makes no sound, is always cool to the touch, fantastic build quality and works like a charm. Just make sure you buy the model that has enough power for what you are plugging in. Highly recommend.

I have a Bose system that operates of 220v and needed a power supply to convert 110v to 220v. This unit powers the Bose perfectly. Well built unit. Surprisingly heavy for a compact power supply.

J'ai acheté le modèle 500W pour faire fonctionner mes anciennes consoles venant de France et fonctionnant en 220/230 volts. Je l'utilise surtout avec une PS3 Fat qui est une des consoles consommant le plus et tout va bien, le transfo est vraiment silencieux et bien fini donc c'est parfait !

Best voltage converter/step-up transformer available for the price. I bought the 500v one. Its good for most common uses. Great built quality ( a little bit heavy - has pure copper coils), runs cool & no noise or interference. I am running my audiophile integrated amplifier from UK (230V) on it. Great seller. Highly recommended.
