OXO Tot Cutlery for Big Kids - Dusk

I got these gorgeous my grandson, he is 8yrs old but slightly smaller than some. I noticed he was having trouble with large cutlery especially with thin handles ( I don't like them either), so I chose these because they aren't baby size and just right for an older child. Problem solved ! He loves them , they provide the proper leverage to cut food with the fork and knife.

We are teaching our first child to use forks, spoons and a knife and this is a great training set. The handles on the utensils are thin enough that he can easily hold. They are dishwasher safe so it makes cleaning easy as well! The fork and spoon are just the right size for him to eat the food with (not to big and not too small)!

I made a second purchase of this set to have a backup handy in case they go out of stock on day. They are very useful and the quality is good. Further, the size and weight are perfect for the little ones. Highly recommend it

My f-year-old granddaughter was outgrowing the very small tableware she had been using since first learning to feed herself, but was not yet able to handle adult-sized tableware. This set is perfectly sized for her and will probably work well until she is 6 or older. The pieces are sturdy and easy to handle. The only "con" is that the fork tines are very rounded and make it difficult for her to efficiently use her fork to "stab" pieces of food.

Love these. Perfect step up for toddlers once they know how to use the utensils properly. the clean out great in dishwasher, no melting issues and the shape is safe for the small hands.

My 4.5 yr old grandaughter is graduating into "BIG girl" stuff so I've been on the hunt for things to help. Got my order today, washed them, and as she began using them for lunch, I immediately turned around and ordered another set! This set is perfect size for growing hands (photo shows the set next to a salad fork). The prongs are not as sharp, nor as long as an adult fork, and are better at grabbing food than a toddler fork. These utensils are easy to handle and balance, and the grip makes it easy to hold, and she loves them (photo showing how it fits her hand). The grip is thoroughly attached, therefore it won't hold water, and won't come off like some others do (photo showing attachment). I wash her utensils right away: I don't leave them soaking in water, and I don't put them in the dishwasher so I can expect them to last a long time. The only complaint I have is there is no option for purple! She chose green for her second set.

Our son loves his "big kid" silverware. We don't love how sharp the knife is. It's got small serrations and is shaper than our regular butter knives.

Must confess. I didn't buy these for child . I bought them for myself because I have small hands and needed something ergonomic. No regrets.
