Philips BRT382/15 Cordelss Bikini Trimmer (White/Pink)

This was ordered by one of my female family members, and this is review is written by her- So, I have tried the trimmer from Braun & Veet before buying this. Let me compare them all in this review.. Built Quality: 10/10 Philips feels good quality right from the beginning. I will rate Veet as 7/10 and Braun as 3/10 (Braun one is a really cheap chinese plastic) Attachments: 9/10 Phillips has a Trimmer and another close-shave feel attachment. Both work wonderfully well. However a tiny trimmer for detailing would have got it a perfect 10. But with enough dexterity, you will do well with just one trimmer attachment as well. And the attachment giving a close shave is superb. I won't talk about additional accessories like brush, 3mm trim attachment.. because I personally find them useless. Durability: I have recently bought the Philips, so I am yet to see how long it lasts. (Considering the feel & quality, I have high hopes) Update: Lasted for good 3-4 yrs. Then slowed down, so I have replaced with the exact same model Braun lasted for 3 months before it's blades got so jittery that it started to pull on hair instead of cutting them. Veet lasted for 10 months and suddenly one day stopped working.. I tried changing battery etc. But it was dead! Functionality & performance: Philips- trims faster & it's comfortable to hold. The button is located strategically enough that you can start & stop at your wish, without accidentally hitting it. Also very comfortable on skin regardless of how you hold it. Highly recommended for newbies who are trying trimmers for first time. Braun- accidental on- off due to poor placement. It never trimmed really nicely. It also pinched on the skin multiple times causing minor bleeds. So make sure you are holding the Braun one at correct angles at all times or end up with skin tears. Veet- stupid button placement with two speeds. And Why in the world anyone needs to trim on slooooow speed? 🙄 Skin pinching was minimum (no bleeds, but occasional minor pinches were there). But if you didn't hold it at a correct position, the hair wouldn't get trimmed well. After trying Disposable Shavers, Medical grade shaving blades, Hair removal creams, Very wax strips Braun trimmer, Veet trimmer.. I finally found Phillips trimmer! p.s. For long lasting hair removal, I use philips' epilator.. it was bought way back in 2006 and still works wonderfully! Good job Phillips!

This product is good but the problem is its cleaning head. Yeah for sure its unexpectedly small. And if you are a hell busy person like me then of course you don't want to waste your time on gliding it again and again on same part. So that's the reason why I returned it. And telling about my return experience with this product the it was really like experiencing hell. If talking about how to use then its really easy to use. Comes with a replaceable battery. Means you don't need to find a switch board you can use it anywhere anytime even if the light is gone(but surely you will need owl's eyes to see in dark🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣). Go for it if you don't have any problem with it's small head. I'm giving it 4 stars just because my purpose of buying it was not fulfill.

Love this trimmer. Bought this a couple of years ago and it still works like new. It has great attachments and is really convenient to use. Never experienced any discomfort or cuts like with razors, especially on sensitive areas. Would definitely recommend this! It also comes with a little pouch that is great when you want to pack the trimmer and attachments for travel. Pro tip: remove the battery from the trimmer when not in use. Good for the trimmer and also gets the most out of your battery life. I use Duracell batteries that last for months!

Easy to use and not at all painful. Eventhough it doesnt give a complete clean look as in waxing , the effects are satisfactory. I bought it especially for underarms and it does the work really well. I know there are girls out there who love wearing sleeveless tops but do not go for waxing as it is much painful. These are made for them . This comes with a cute pouch and also a battery is provided. There is a small brush for cleaning the trimmer after use. Go for it people. And thanks Amazon for the superfast delivery.

Most of the reviews say the shaver doesn’t work well. Please read the instructions properly! The shaver only works on very short hair. That means after using the trimmer, then you can use the shaver for a neater look. I have given this trimmer 3 stars because if you use the trimmer without the head, the edges of the trimmer cuts your skin so you need to be very careful. Otherwise, the whole combo works well.

It's a quality product, the blades are very nice. I have used the veet trimmer and the Phillips trimmer and a few of those cheap ones like silk, Phillips is definitely the best, it's super easy to use and the precision head is just absolutely amazing. The veet trimmer is also almost just as good but does not come with a precision head so I prefer Phillips over veet and the silk one was just really cheap quality but that is to be expected for mere 300 rupees.

At this point, with Amazon, I'm more surprised if they deliver things on time rather than 3 days earlier! The device was extremely (!) Well packaged and delivered really fast. Anyway. The Philips trimmer is, as promised, handy a travel friendly. The trimmer head does its job and trims down the hair to a small stubble (don't go expecting a SHAVE with it, its a trimmer). I couldn't manage to get much use out of the plastic protection and the shaver attatchment though I'll be giving it another try soon (shaver head, not plastic protection, its perfectly safe to use without it, in my opinion.) So maybe I'll edit the review. If you're looking for a perfect shaver and hoping for actual "razor and foam" results, yeah no this won't work but otherwise, its pretty good for quick grooms and trims.

Good product, worth to have one.
