Excellent Gaming Speakers
These speakers are just the perfect if your looking for a proper 5.1 for your gaming needs. I upgraded from a logitech Z506 which was also a brilliant setup. The main difference between these are are that Z906 is extremely loud, powerful and the fact that you can actually wall mount these speakers also a major advantage is that these speakers use normal speaker wires which can be extended according to your room size were as the Z506 comes with fixed wires that cannot be extended easily and moreover they aren't powerful enough if you mount them on the walls. Speaking about the subwoofer they are really punchy that your tables and wardrobes start shaking. When it comes to 5.1 a proper placement is a must to really experience what these speakers are capable of. In games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, GTA 5, FORZA HORIZON 4, DIRT RALLY 2 the sound is extremely good that you literally hear every bit of whats happening in the back ground. These speakers have lot of options to set levels of rear speakers, center speaker and the subwoofer also you can switch between 3D sound which fills all the 5 speakers, 4.1 or 2.1 setup according to your taste. The remote is really sensitive literally works from anywhere and also is handy. These speakers are not just good for games they are also excellent for movies and music. Overall very good value for money and the quality build is TOP NOTCH. These are perfect for computers as you don't really need HDMI inputs or even a bluetooth, if your looking for a proper home theater for the TV then you should probably consider other brands. The packing is good kept the speakers intact without any damage. The seller should improve the outer packing as the speaker comes just with the outer LOGITECH MASTER CARTON I wish there was another big master carton inside which the logitech box was kept.

This Beast is worth the Hype!
Using from past 2 days.. Powerful performance, impressive sound. Will be updating as I play with this more and more. Update(25/10/2019): 1. Before the purchase, My fear were the reviews which claimed that it can't be used for listening to songs as the vocals are too loud and the music is not noticeable. Let me tell you, this is all myth. It has excellent balance of all, highs-mids-lows. Use 4.1 mode for music. You'll love it. 2. The speakers are STRONG. I mean, the sound it gives, sometimes frightens at normal movies. Mine increases my heart beat at times. 3. The most exciting topic - The Sub-Woofer. 9/10. The beats, the vibrations, the continuous bass at the background, you don't miss anything. Watching movies is a pleasure. Use 5.1 mode for movies, if 5.1 not available, use 4.1. You'll love it. 4. It's a perfect Home Theatre System. Optical does the job well. HDMI could have been there but if you have knowledge, how to use various input, you won't face any issue. Using Logitech Bluetooth adapter with this which I had bought some 5 years ago, works flawless. 5. Watch TV in 2.1 mode. Perfect! Overall, I am completely satisfied with the system. I sometimes, just listen random music with rich bass and my shaking sofa gives hell of satisfaction. Conclusion: Must Buy!

Genuine Review
Best Multimedia Home Theatre Under 25K Powerful Enough to compete Sony, Yahama, Philips, F&D, Zebronics, Intex etc Multimedia home theatre Speaker's. Woofer is very powerful 165W RMS Output powerful enough to Shake the house, at 60% Windows Start Vibrating. Detailed Review at the End. First of All see these Differences :- Bluray Home Theatre Vs Multimedia Home Theatre... Bluray HomeTheatre Consists of 5-Speaker with 1-Passive Woofer + 1-Bluray Player for Amplification. Multimedia HomeTheatre Consists of 5-Speakers with 1- Active Woofer. So in Multimedia home theatre we don't need amplifiers, inbuilt amplifiers are provided in this. Comparison With Multimedia Home Theatre :- 1. Logitech Z906 Vs Sony SA D100 Definitely Logitech Wins Logitech is just 3-times the Sony SA D100. 2. Logitech z906 Vs Philips 5250B, here Philips is very good but not enough to compete Logitech. 3. Logitech Z906 Vs Yamaha Speaker Package NS-P40, very good enough but little bit less when compared with loudness level, bass is very good but sound clarity is not very good, at high volume. Comparison With Bluray Home Theatre :- 1. Logitech Z906 Vs Sony HT-RT 40 Here Sony Provide very good surround effect, provide decent bass, but Logitech is very powerful and loud enough to Shake house, but Sony don't Shake the house at all. 2. Logitech Z906 Vs Philips HTD5520/94 here Philips is good enough to complete Sony in surround effect but also Powerful in bass like Logitech z906, almost equal to Logitech in bass, and also it provides 5-tower speaker in place of satellite speakers so this is best choice if not buying Logitech z906 go for Philips. 3. Logitech Z906 Vs Yahama 1840 Very powerful good enough for living room, but same problem when is come to loudness it fails to compete with Logitech, other than this everything is great. Detailed Review for Logitech Z906 :- If you are a Bass Lover, like me, this product gonna blow your mind, bass is very much stronger than any other brand, yes also better than JBL (only Bass), so u can say this is a monster under 25k, surround sound quality is also very good like Sony, but feels little bit difference, if looking best speakers for desktop/laptop, go for this blindly, you don't regret, if looking for stylish design with decent sound and all features like HDMI/3D/DTS/DD/DD+/Bluray/Bluetooth go for Philips or Sony yes but above 25K price range, so According to me everything work great, but only some drawback (cons) for this, No Bluetooth, No HDMI, No SPDIF Optical Cable, No Mounting bracket in the box and console problem, many users talking about console/hardware problem occurs after 9-12months, but Logitech offering Replacement/Return Options, so I think no problem bez 2yr warranty is there. I update my review, if I face any problems with this. According to me if spending almost 20k, we must need to know everything about the product before buying, Feel Free to Contact me or ask questions for this, I definitely help from my end. And at the end, BIG Thanks to AMAZON for Hassle-free Service and Fast Delivery, got the product in just 2days.

Sony IV 300 vs Logitech z906
This review is for those who getting confused to choose between sony iv 300 and z906. Straight to the point sony have very good digital amplifier with all the input options including HDMI input but with very very average speakers including the booming woofer.... On the other hand Logitech have very good speakers with limited input options which servers the purpose for me .... The weight of the speaker and woofer is heavy in z906 where as sony is very very lite... Heavier the speaker better the output... I choose Logitech with lots of hesitation but it out came all of it... Can't believe it's a 9 year old model .... I bought this for my Xbox one x and fire tv stick ... It server the purpose pretty well... You need atleast 20x20 feet size room for the better results....For smaller room this speaks are too heavy ...Those who looking for gaming this is the speaker for you ... i strongly recommend this for gaming consoles... It s also good for movies too... Bass is really deep and punchy .... U can get only boom boom from sony...This will hit your heart with a hammer... This speker can do Dolby and dgs pretty well surround is good... Center speakers could have been better.... Those who have fire stick u shd have optical out out in your tv... Otherwise u have no other option in 20 k budget other than sony iv300... I ll update soon more about this speakers...

Logitech at its best
Amazing sound system. I have used Sony's 5.1, 2 of LG's, but this beats them all in terms of quality and features. I am glad that I did extensive research for various systems in this price range before buying this. Its compatibility with several formats and its console were the primary reasons that I bought it for. The volume is at par with most other decent brands. But the bass is superb and even at high volumes & high bass the sound clarity is excellent. I needed a system that could support DTS sound from my PC directly and it does that. Bose and the likes of it were too expensive for me and Sony and the rest were too basic. So, this was perfect for my purposes. I've been using it for over a month and I'm quite happy with it. +ves: - big fat bass. Bigger that your usual Sony's/LG's - super-cool console with a nice and useful remote - excellent build quality - sufficiently long wires - a basic yet intuitive setup guide. Setting it up was pretty easy - compatibility with both digital coaxial and optical - option for wall mounting the satellites is available if you have the right screws -ves: - screws for the satellites weren't included for wall mounting purpose - no bluetooth. But Logitech's bluetooth receiver is available on amazon and it's a perfect fit for these speakers. Here's a link - Logitech 980-001276 Bluetooth Audio Receiver with USB (Black) Thanks Amazon for having it in your store!

Easy to fail and Practically un-repairable.
The speaker system is reasonably good when it comes to sound quality. But beware, if anything goes wrong, the entire system is as good as dead. And things are easy to go wrong here. I have in past own two sets of Logitech speakers, both blew up with even a moderate power spike. And when it does the system is practically unrepairable. The main board uses several custom parts that are impossible to find. Even if something as simple as the power module fails, there is no way you can get it repaired. I tried multiple repair shops, but none were able to repair even a simple power module fault. Some even refused to try just after taking a look at the board. Their own customer care will tell you that they can't do anything, can't even supply a replacement board, or replacement woofer. On top of that, the system uses 4 ohm speakers, where most standard amps drive 6 or 8 ohm speakers. So if the woofer power module fails, you will not be able to buy a standard amp to drive these speakers. So it's a pity that I have 5 good speakers but I can use them because of a minor fault that should be easy to repair in any other system. I will not recommend this to anyone just for this reason.

Superb product, top class finish!
I am loving it! The speakers are superb both in terms of sound output and clarity. These speakers are power packed and I am unable to crank up the volume to more than 50% of the full range. The subwoofer produces a punch that is rattling all my windows while the speakers in the set are extremely balanced when it comes to frequency outputs. The centre speaker is producing amazing response to voices, even the faintest dialogue is clearly audible now. The array of inputs at the back of the subwoofer has taken in all my sound sources - PS4 & TV using optical cables, DVD player using coaxial while input for my phone is supported using EP to 2RCA cables. The centre controller unit lets me switch to whichever device I like using the buttons on it or the remote control. The set has a superb finish and feels premium. Just one flaw, the remote is too small and I tend to misplace it all the time. Overall, a great buy. A great makeshift for expensive AV receivers but strictly a makeshift. Cannot replace them totally.

A beast of a sound system
The z906 is Logitech’s flagship in the litany of their pc speakers lineup ..and it truly is. I have used the Logitech x540 speakers for 5 years and was very impressed on how it used to punch above its weight (or size) and finally decided to take a plunge on a truly digital system . I must admit i was reluctant to try anything other than Logi. Now coming to the sound experience itself, first things first, you need a truly dedicated soundcard to unleash the potential of the z906. The argument that soundcards are irrelevant these days is invalid ,atleast in my case . The difference was night and day . The Asus Xonar DX 7.1 pci-e simply blew the on-board Realtek out of the water. Just be sure to get the right driver for the soundcard and u will be fine. The z906 dac supports Dolby digital and DTS encoding and this will suffice for a very thrilling movie viewing experience. The sound seems to come from all directions when watching a 5.1 movie . U will hear every minute detail as intended by the creators.True home theatre experience. Make sure the source file is a good one. All in all I really love the z906 for the sound it delivers Cons: No Bluetooth support,no hdmi ,no wireless satellites. So what?. As long it caters a aural feast I simply don’t care about the cons. Finally I recommend it as a must buy if u are looking for PC home theatres. Pro tip: For a true 5.1 experience connect via optical out and make sure the decode light is on when audio processing. Else u will get only a simulated surround effect and not a true one.

Does a fine job for a decent price
I had the Logitech Z680 system since around 2005 before getting the Z906. The Z680, for the time, was a phenomenal set of speakers for a computer system. 400+ watts made my house shake. Now, 23 years later, the Z680's finally died on me...not the speakers, the electronics that are contained on the back of the bass speaker. I was deeply saddened and simultaneously almost in a panic as my music is extremely important to me and there was no way I was going to be able to use the el cheap-o 2 speaker setup I kept for just whatever. I also live on a fixed income, so I needed to be able to afford something as good or better for a similar price I paid for the Z680 setup. I naturally went back to looking at Logitech. There was the Z5500, but way, way too costly. Then found the Z906. The price, for me, was still a little high, but not so much so that I couldn't somehow work it out, so I purchased it after reading all the info I could all over the internet about them. When they got to the house, the first thing I notcied was a big 2"x3" hole where it looks like someone was carrying the box and ran into the corner of a desk or something. Unfortunately the puncture went all the way through to the inside box and into the grill of one of the satellite speakers and dented it pretty good, enough so that I had to take the faceplate off the speaker and gently tap the grill away from the speaker itself so it could work properly as the grill was actually pressing down some on the speaker itself. Once everything was back together, I set the system up on my computer. I'm at the computer at least 10 hours a day, and my music is important to me, so I have a very nice sound card for my system. I'm not a gamer though, so the speakers weren't important in that way for me at all. I The system is really easy to set-up, it's just a little time consuming, especially if you want to do it right the first time. I didn't need the supplied wire for the satellites as I simply had left the wires for my old speaker system setup where they were and they were perfect for the Z906 satellites. Plugging everything in to the bass was also nice and easy, everything is labeled nicely, so I had no trouble moving all the stuff that was plugged in to the Z680 bass over to the Z906 bass. The control panel is a bit nicer than what came with the Z680, and much easier to adjust to whatever one needs, though you still have to have two hands to do so - one to hold it down and the other to press the buttons. My advice here - *USE THE REMOTE CONTROL*. This makes things so much easier. It's actually the one of two things I like best about the Z906 over the Z680 I had, the other being the bass weighs about half as much. The one con I had about the Z906 system is that Logitech went el cheap-o and didn't supply speaker stands. I found that to be pretty lame on their part. Once it was all set-up, I turn on some music (I'm extremely eclectic and can listen to anything from head-banging skin-head stuff, to Mozart and Wagner...I *won't* listen to (c)rap or this bubblegum pop BS nowadays). Again Logitech didn't disappoint. These speakers *WILL* make the house shake. They have plenty of highs and the bass does a great job of thumping if the music calls for it. Every kind of music needs to have the sound set differently for it. For example, I wouldn't leave the bass set as high for Beethoven as I do for Black Flag. So I don't understand the reviews saying bad things about either too much or too little bass or highs (tweets). The levels of this system can be set to do whatever one wants for whatever type of music one is listening to. If you want to listen to Chopin, then turn the bass down to what you want for that. If you want to listen to some Disturbed, then turn the bass up for that. I also am able to adjust things even more on my Linux system computer, and I'm sure people using that garbage called Microsoft Windows are able to do so too, but I believe they simply don't know they can or maybe even simply lazy and don't *want* to have to make adjustments for the music they're listening to at the moment. Whatever. I just know that these speakers, with the correct adjustments made for each type of music I might be listening to, can, for instance, make me feel like I'm in some fine music hall, center seating, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D minor Op. 125 'Ode an die Freude' is playing live because I'm back in time and it sounds that good...at least to me, heh. Overall, these are well worth the price if you want something halfway decent and can crank up and really impress your neighbor(s)(hood) or make them come looking for you with torches, pitchforks and rope! Learn to adjust the levels for what you might be playing, then sit back and enjoy, because these speakers *for your computer* will *NOT* disappoint. Put in a nice sound card to make sure you get the best from them, I have an Audigy RX which works perfectly for me, giving me all the power the Z906's will want and the clarity and surround sound and everything else a non-pro audiophile will want. These Z906's are fantastic at movies too.

Good enough.
This is the second set we own, you just can't get better sound quality for the price. It lives in our living room and the remote works great. Something has always been missing with the sound though - it doesn't lack oomph or bass or trebble, but the mix has always just been off - even with our previous set. To replace this with a better sound system, you will look at 3 to 5 times the price. This is good enough

音の臨場感が凄い、、
音質がかなり良くなりました 以前はz623を使用していたのですが、全く別物です。5.1chになり臨場感から違います。 レビューを参考にさせて頂き、スピーカーケーブルと変圧器を購入し使用しております。 欲を言えばもう少し設定を細かくイジる事が出来ていれば尚良かったです。 ただ、この値段でこの音質なら買って損なしなので、オススメです
