Never bought this brand before so wasn't sure what to expect, but they were comfortable from day 1. The size was perfect and they weren't too heavy or clumpy once on. Totally waterproof and feel very sturdy. Very pleased with them. Plus got them in the sale so they were a bargain. *I have now had these 18 months and the waterproof-ness seems to have failed. The soles are hardly worn but the suede is very scuffed which is to be expected given I'm a professional dog walker and I've worn these a lot. Still recommend them but definitely wouldn't pay full price.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to some new walking boots - these are really gorgeous - so comfortable and true to size, sturdy, durable. We put the em to the test in harsh snowy weather last week and both had lovely snug dry cosy feet!! Recommend this quality product.

Some reviews said they are true to size. I initially intended to wear them with normal socks so I ordered my usual size 5.5. They were definitely too small so I ordered sizes 6 and 6.5. They are not particularly wide so I went with the 6.5. I wear them with slightly thicker socks and they are perfect and comfortable and I love them. Insoles not removable but my 3/4 insoles fit perfectly. Returns were easy

Love these no blisters very comfortable, however I found the soles slippery in the wet on cobbles.

I‘m not a serious walker, but need something affordable and waterproof that supported my ankles on longer walks. These have been perfect and look gorgeous (not too clunky).

These boots arrived the day before I was trekking Snowdon so I had no time to wear them in but they were so comfortable from the get go. They are waterproof, light, warm, soft enough but supportive. They have withstood been submerged in a Welsh bog and lots of local mud and long wet grass. And they look cool too which you can’t say do all hiking boots! Highly recommended.

Hazard warning: The boots are great but last week the looped done up lace from the right boot caught on the hook on the left boot and I fell, badly damaging my knee. Need to watch out for that. I don’t know if I can wear them again.

Heel fijne schoenen! Al op meerdere wandelkampen meegegaan, net als op vele vakanties. Vulkanisch gesteente, modder, gravel, overal kunnen deze schoenen tegen. Heerlijk stevige schoenen. Ze zijn hun geld zeker waard!

Scarpe davvero comode ed impermeabili. Utilizzate anche sulla neve, in Islanda, garantendomi sempre un piede asciutto e caldo. Adatte anche all’utilizzo di ramponcini.

Honestly you won't really get a much better shoe for the same price. I have been hunting around within the same price range, and other than being restricted to a few brands due to the lack of availability online and in brick and mortar stores from where I'm from, Columbia is a brand which is value for money. The Newton Ridge Plus checks off quite a few boxes, especially when you're looking for a good looking pair of hiking shoes, easy hikes, comfort, and well priced. Similarly priced shoes from other brands tend to be not that great looking, uncomfortable, too heavy, or even not waterproof. I will be wearing it soon, and may return with a review if there's something contrary to what I have written here so far.

I have nothing but good things to say about these boots. I bought 6 different boots online from various stores and different brands and tried them all on at home. These fit the best, looked the best, and seemed the comfiest. I took them on a 10 day trip to Iceland and they were perfect! No need to break them in - super comfortable, they looked so cute, they were light enough that I didn’t feel clunky, and they held up well. Also very waterproof! The only thing is, I’m not sure how breathable they are, because after a long day of wearing them, my feet did feel very warm and a little smelly, but nothing a quick foot spray into the boot didn’t fix. There were no lingering odours the next day.
