Skullcandy Smokin Buds2 in-Earphone with Mic (Black)

If you are a casual listener with varied taste in music, you are going to love the sound quality. I tried all genres possible EDM, hiphop, rock, pop, classical, bollywood, soundtracks...et al. And this pair seems to have some kind of intelligence built in as it does justice to all of them in its own way. Didn't get any ear fatigue either. If you think your mp3s aren't sounding great on this pair then check the bitrates. As long as the bitrates are good the earphones sound great. Noise isolation is decent. I had initially ordered the Sony MDR-XB30EX, but after reading about its over bearing bass drowning the vocals, I decided to cancel the order and went for these. I am sure the sonys are great too if you are into bass heavy music. But I am glad I got these instead. Bass is quite good without any muddiness. Mids, vocals all pretty well reproduced. Try Hotel California-Live version with the lights off. Bliss. Having said all that, this is not audiophile grade. Casual is the game it plays best. Coming to the microphone- voice quality is top shelf. Works with everything under the sun it seems. Tried it with windows phone, Android phone, macbook.... The single button remote even pauses and plays songs on itunes...! Decent build quality. The only gripe I have is the carry case they provide. Its tiny and extremely difficult to fit the earphones inside it. Its like skullcandy sold us a nice pair of earphones and a puzzle to solve along with it. I tried like 15-20 times to store the earphones in the case. Frustration started to creep in. I stopped before I broke anything. What were they thinking. Wanted to pull a star just for the case but decided against it. Recommended !

I bought these in 2017 and they lasted for about 2 years until the mic stopped working. But that I would say happened because I used it so much! These are clearly one of the best earphones I've used. The wire can be classified as tangle-free. I've never had trouble with it. The noise cancellation is superb!! It fits very comfortably. I would still choose this over the wireless ones I'm seeing nowadays. Great in-budget product by Skullcandy!

I am kinda brand loyal; and skullcandy is my most favourable brand...though i have used many others too..but i always settle on skullcandy at last.... The Sound quality that comes out of this pair is simply awesome.. Bass is high as s***! Awesome highs..I have fallen in love with this earphone from the time i heard it first... The bass of the earphone is just awesome and the sound clarity of these earphones are just beautiful...the one which suits your ear completely... I am a music lover and usually spend lot of time listening music everyday, so i prefer to use best earphones all the time previously i tried, philips, tdk, sony, jbl and Sennheiser earphone among them Sennheiser was the best i used but this one beats them all in crystal clear music and bass experience In addition the earphone looks great (i use this on with my samsung galaxy note2 & canvas turbo) BUT the built quality is only ok (cables can be damaged if not handled properly), we have to use it very delicately it may not stand in the hands of rough users Rest of the things are just great Overall if you are looking for good music, go for it...worth bit every penny spent on it...

Bass effect is good but should have focused more on the sound esp the low tunes. Overall it's good to use but less as compared to Sennheiser cx275. Money worth!!

It was my 3rd SkullCandy product. I have been using Smokin' Buds for years since it has better quality sound compared to most of the brands. But the product quality is dropping. I purchased this on Jan 20, 2018 and after few months the Mic stopped working, Including the button without any reason. I was on a call and after I cut the call it just stopped working. So I have sent for the replacement. The support was really bad and after several follow ups, and 2+ months of waiting I have received the product by October. Again, 2 days before (25th Jan, 2019) the Mic stopped working without any reason, just like the same. I have been a loyal customer of SkullCandy and this drop of quality is quite unreasonable. And I have decided to move on to some other brands.

You can buy this product without any dought......Best one in all the segment. If you want Bass , Sound , Voice clearance and Noise Cancellation then you can buy .This one is the best one when it comes for earphones Skullcandy is the best if you want more comfortable then go for ( Method types one ) That is the best one in the earphone segment. No competition for the Skullcandy Method types. At last it's always Skullcandy for me . I wish you guys should try this.👆

Product was awesome.. BASS and treble is simply kick ass good.. I used sennheiser, sony and now skull candy but i have noticed not much difference among all.. worth for price.. giving only 3 because, the product which was delivered was not the transparent one which can be seen in the product images. DONT EXPECT any transparent earphones... but product is simply awesome.. Totally satisfied with build quality and sound quality.

These headphones are absolute beauty. I normally don't write reviews but the headphone is really really cool. Therefore, wanted to write a review about them. The sound is balanced. Bass is not enhanced, it's just about right amount. Highs are okay, but you can't expect better than this in the price range. And in comfort they are better than other most of the other competitors. These headphones suit better if you listen to Rock, Blues and other genres with a lot of guitar sound. Just go for it.

es la segunda vez que compro este modelo, son muy cómodos y la calidad del audio es parecida a unos audífonos de gama alta, aíslan por completo el ruido del exterior a pesar de ser muy sencillos, lo malo es que con el tiempo se rompe la goma que permite agarrar el auricular para colocarlo en el oído, duran más de 2 años de uso diario

Es la tercera vez que compro estos auriculares porque me encanta como se escucha y como aíslan, a parte de ser muy cómodos y bonitos

Es la tercera vez que compro estos mismos audífonos, unos los rompí por accidente y estos últimos para regalo. Mi juego de audífonos actual ya tiene 3 años conmigo funcionando como el primer día. La calidad de audio es excelente comparado con otros audífonos de su rango de precio y la tecnología off-axis asegura un mejor control activo del ruido. Definitivamente los compraría otra vez. Llegaron un poco antes de lo previsto y en perfecto estado como siempre, nunca he tenido ningún problema con este vendedor.
