I use these umbrella hats for my tall chicken waterer. It goes on the round lid and prevents the hens sitting on top of the waterer and pooping all over it... They last a good while too. My last one lasted me 8 months in the elements.

Stitching is very thin and I can tell these won't last long before ripping.

These are great for a quick run in the rain. My grandson loves his!

Good value, sturdy construction

My son wore this when it was snowing this weekend at a football tournament. Even though it was snowing, the sun was also so bright. This helped with both at the same time and he was happy. It fits me (40 years old) and him(11 years old) comfortably. Not too tight but tight enough that it wasn't going anywhere. I can not speak about how much wind it could withstand. Probably a good bit. They open and close easily and feel pretty sturdy and well made.
