For the price does what I need
I practice on a tile floor so it was either dig a hole in the grout or find something. I looked at other and almost tried something else but this had been recommended on celloonline. For me it works great but then again I have a wonderful teacher who has helped me with form and technique. I don't need something to hold the cello-I just need something to keep it from slipping on the floor

Grip? What grip?
Unfortunately, the grip ain't it here - daughters cello won't stay in one place.If it matters, she uses it on a hardwood floor, newly installed.

cello stop
This cello stop works great. My daughter carries it easily with her cello case. She is fairly rough with her stuff, and this has taken the beating. I highly recommend this inexpensive cello stop.
