It’s just so mesmerizing, I’m in awe. I watched sailor moon as a kid but never felt the wish to have the manga, this box is a gift for a friend but I had to open it to check everything was okay with it and I couldn’t take my eyes out of how whimsical and beautiful it is. Now I want one for me so maybe I’ll be coming back for another one, this time for me.This is worthy at all, if you are thinking of buying it, go ahead and with no doubts, it costs every penny. It came in perfect conditions, inside everything looks right, I love the postcards, it’s a nice detail along with the tomos. Thank you so much !

This manga box set is a perfect gift for a fan of the series from new fans to fans who have been watching since they were kid like me. I'm so happy that I'm able to get a chance to read the manga. I remember how hard it used to be to get the manga so having all the books together along with 16 collectable art cards is an added bonus. I'm a huge Sailor Moon fan who has been watching and reading the series since the 90s. I'm very happy that I finally get a chance to read the manga. The box is a great way to display the manga as well. It's a very sturdy box which doubles as a great collector's edition. Great buy, definitely recommend!

I grew up in the deep south where the options laid out for girls were pretty narrow — mom, teacher, or nurse, and that was about it. Sailor Moon was the first thing that told me directly and loudly that girls can be anything. Usagi is a scared crybaby who saves the world over and over anyway, which as an anxious kid meant everything to me. I have a Sailor Moon tattoo that says “Fight Like A Girl.” So when the official Naoko Takeuchi Collection went on sale, I didn't think twice. Volumes 1-6 cover the series from the beginning through some of its most iconic arcs, condensed from the original 18 tankobon — but not abridged. Nothing was cut; the volumes were just restructured. The glittering box, the art cards, the translation that's a genuine step up from the old TokyoPop editions — this is the version of the series I always wanted to own. Worth every penny.

the box it comes with it very beautiful and the art cards are also very very nice but box sets comes lower printing quality most of the time and this is no exception these books are china prints and use an eggshell white paper the book feels weirdly stiff its hard to describe until you pick it up and compare it to a normal manga volume something that would be make or break for me is that since the printing quality is lower there is A LOT of bleed through on the pages to the point of being distracting from the art because sometimes you can make out whats on the next page before turning it especially because theres a lot of white space most manga page bleed through is still there but its not nearly as prevalent as it is here if you are a manga collector i think you should steer clear of this as pretty as it but for most other people i think its serviceable if this is enough to bother you i would recommend the eternal editions as they have the most colored pages and updated translation and the bigger size makes the art stand out a lot more or you can just get these outside the box set and they wont have the problems these have

Absolutely beautiful, amazing quality, good size, amazing details, looks just like the pictures, sparkly, absolutely worth the money and makes great gift, this is the second family member that i bought this for as a gift set and both were absolutely thrilled and love them, i also bought the second volume set and they love them as well. I would absolutely recommend

When it arrived the entire package smelled of what was presumably olive oil and upon opening there was an oil stain on the corner of the box under the plastic wrap. There was also a small dent on another corner of it. The box is beautiful including the artcards but it wasnt handled with much care. As for the manga’s themselves, it has yellowish paper and some colored pages. This naoko takeuchi edition is fairly affordable and great but i say if you have the money to spend, out of all the sailor moon prints, the eternal edition is ideal.
