Can it deflect bullets?

I think so.. though I m using it as a helmet :) while performing stunts on my bike.

The cooking surface measures around 6.5 inches (16.25cm) as mentioned in the product description (A touch less at the bottom.) and the height of the edges is approximately 3.5 cm. Do note that this is not suitable for making curries etc. (Too small.) If you maintain and season it well, you can fry eggs, bake small skillet cookies, re heat very small quantities of food and do similar things. A 10 inch skillet would be a far better choice for normal cooking.

how often do i need to season it?

What I do is this: If I just fried something on it and nothing is sticking to the surface, I just pour out extra oil if any and wipe it with a cloth/tissue and put it away. (That is, I don't wash it.)If something is sticking/ I cooked something that would leave a very strong smell (like fish), I wash the pan in plain water and rub with my hands/soft sponge until it is clean and then heat it up well. I finish by rubbing a thin layer of oil with a tissue/cloth and put it away.So basically, you need to wipe it/heat till very dry and leave a thin layer of oil every time you use it.

What is the difference between rock and lodge cast iron products?

No ides about Rock but we been using Lodge skillet since 1 year and are happy with the results.
