Kent Grand Plus 8-Litre Mineral RO + UV/UF with TDS Controller Water Purifier

Kent created lots of problems for Amazon purchase. The first installer did not install at all. I had to escalate a lot. He did nothing practically - mounted the purifier on my existing bolts. Did not adjust TDS, did not put Kent pre-filter, did not check water quality, did not tell us how to drain water, no demo.Re-installation (after shifting house) experience was worse.The washer in my pipe was broken but KENT technician was asking me to replace entire pipe for it. Kent provided technician after repeated phone calls and his phone was never answered. He called after long wait and visited only to tell me this -- did not use any other simple home-method to seal leakage. We were having lunch but he kept arguing. He told us to get pipe in half an hour and only then he would do work.(After not being reachable all day).Absolutely unprofessional, non customer oriented and lazy as before. He was busy with his personal calls all the time. Finally he did not install.

It was installed by Kent person today. He did not wait and quickly fixed it in few minutes and left. Water leaks from storage tank after it is full. We have got faulty product again and Kent support not helping.

Hi all dont buy this. Very poor customer support. Kent customer care will commit installation in 24 hours. But nothing will happen. I wait 7 days and atlast returned it. My frnd who have kent ro need a filter replacement and calling daily to customer care from last 2months. Dont buy. U will get in trap.

Kent wants to mint money with hidden costs. After buying 16,000 of water purifier, the installation person was asking for Rs 1000 for kent pre filter. Other pre filters are available for Rs. 200-300. He was not ready to fit the water purifier with the pre-filter I purchased.Moreover, I bought an year's extended warranty for purifier from Amazon, but Kent installation guy said, we don't accept this warranty.

I have been using Kent Grand plus about 5 years and 6 months, I hope this review is informative.Note this before purchase:Your water quality: you can dail-up any purifier brand, toll free and they will come and give you a demo, at the same time you can ask them to check the TDS(Total Dissolved Solids), also see if you get sand or other particles from the tap you are planning to connect the water purifier. In case you notice TDS is above 2000, kindly get a professional's advice on the water purifier for your area, in case TDS is below 150-200, I wouldn't recommend this machine as there other model's that are cheaper and would suit your need. TDS at my place fluctuates from 900-1100, and I get sand at times from the tap I have connected the purifier.If you get sand or in case the water is not clear , I would recommend you to get a pre-filter (sediment filter). It would cost you around 1000 rupees more, but it highly recommended as it will extend life of your filters in the machine. Also make sure to replace this cartridge in 3-4 months, as it would get clogged and water output(pressure) might slow down, making your machine work longer. The cost of cartridge would be vary from 180-500.If you have taking care of all these, then you can expect your maintenance cost to be around 2000-2500 per year provided the electrical parts need not be changed, after all the filters have to be changed when they get clogged.Also almost all purifiers eject a lot of waste water when purifying, so for a liter or purified water your machine might eject 1.5 liters of water. You can collect this water in a container and use it for washing dishes or cleaning.The TDS of the water out of the filter fro us is 60 - 75, and tastes sweet. We had to replace the machine after 5 years of usage, but felt it was worth it.The new machine looks, similar to older one, but has a feature called auto flush, which is expected to increase the life of the filter, will update the comment after a few months to see if this feature is of any use.

Don't buy the product from Kent . They are selling at a huge amount without giving anythingThey are just charging for payment of their beautiful ambassador. Same product are available at a very low price with same warranty except that they are not famous. Don't buy anything Kent

Such a pathetic product. It's been just 2 weeks of use and it had issues twice, first their filter failed at very second day and now the machine is leaking.On top of that the technician is very very rude. Really.. I brought a headache in 16k.Very very very disappointing!!Don't go for this!
