This resource comes with a great booklet that will allow home schoolers to use the resource to its full potential. It came be used in a variety of ways, is sturdy, easy for children to manipulate, which will also help with fine motor skills. Once children know their sounds, digraphs and vowel blends, this resource can be used for building more complex words, we are moving to adjectives etc. It will help build their vocabulary for writing tasks. It supports Kineasthetic learners, ie children who learn by doing things. Vital in all classrooms. AN INVALUABLE RESOURCE FOR ANY SETTING, HOME OR SCHOOL! I have added pics of the items, front and back of the box, of the instruction leaflet and of the items. I have also added a video and pics of this one, the THIRD in the series of three, and off the other three as they all lead on from each other with an APPROPRIATE UPLIFT in learning. This one being the most complex of the three! Age appropriate, bright children will start learning these from 7+, but some might still be using them at 8. VERY HAPPY TO RECOMMEND ALL OF THEM, INCLUDING THIS ONE.

Perfecto para los phonics

If you have a child who is learning to read, don’t hesitate to buy this kit! It has been amazing for my son. He absolutely loves it, and it keeps him engaged while helping him build his reading skills. The activities are fun, educational, and easy to use. It’s a great way to make learning enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Como maestra de educación infantil y madre de un niño de 7 años recomiendo este material con los ojos cerrados. El material es súper atractivo visualmente. Permite un aprendizaje manipulativo, lúdico, individual o grupal. Puedo deciros que como padres es interesante leerse bien las actividades propuestas antes de ofrecerlas a los niños, para poder explicárselas y ofrecerles apoyo si lo necesitan en las primeras prácticas. De este modo, además, tendremos claro todo lo que están aprendiendo nuestros hijos con ellas. Con un poco de imaginación podremos inventar muchas más actividades. Ideal para introducir a los niños en la composición de frases en inglés. Cada tipo de palabra viene clasificada y tiene las piezas en un color distinto para facilitar el aprendizaje. De la marca Learning Resources os recomiendo la mayoría de sus materiales, especialmente los que van orientados al aprendizaje de las matemáticas: mental blox, mathlink cubes, formas geométricas plegables, dive into shapes... Hay infinidad para trabajar cualquier concepto matemático. En este caso se trata de un material de lectoescritura en inglés muy bien elaborado, imprescindible en cualquier escuela y también para trabajar en casa. Os lo recomiendo junto con el Reading Rods básico.

As a first grade teacher who has been teaching for awhile, I’m so glad to have things like this to use in my classroom. They make a great center activity. The kids love them, and they have so much fun while using them. It makes reading a game!
