Liked results after easy assembly!
Just got this compost bin put together today. You’ll definitely need someone to help. Instructions were easy to follow, everything was placed perfectly in the box, and maybe an hour to put together. It appears perfect size for my needs, Material is sturdy and appears to last a long time.I would highly recommend this product!

VERY hard to assemble
To say this thing was hard to assemble is putting it mildly. Not only did I never really figure out how the plastic plates that form the outside of the tubs actually fit together (just sometimes, somehow, they mysteriously did!), once I DID have two plastic circles, the large side pieces that were supposed to "click in place" needed to be hammered into place with a large mallet. It doesn't help a bit that the assembly instructions were clearly written by someone for whom English is not their first language, and the pictures were extremely unhelpful. At the end, I ended up with a pretty nice dual-chamber compost bin, a pile of plastic packaging that many dinosaurs died for and probably would be enough to make another compost bin, and a very sore right arm.

Awesome Eqipment
Bring your lunch because assembly involves a lot of screws. The product speaks for itself regarding the quality of the painted parts and the quality of the casting. My assembly was 5 hours over two days, all by myself. Reading the instructions is usually not part of the process, but I recommend you read through them and highlight the tricks. All the panels fit over the previous one except the last one, for example. Keep in mind that the 42-gallon capacity will weigh 175 pounds, so be sure to put it where you want it.

super small (revised April 2025)
should have studied the product thoroughly before making a purchase, but it is very small. It doesn't hold the amount of grass clippings from one mowing. But because of the size, it is easy to tumble/rotate.Revised April 2025Although the item I ordered (2-compartment 37 gal) was quite small, I received a replacement (1-compartment 43 gal) made a nice addition to the first one. A great part of the 2 small compartment tumbler is that the turnover time is quicker than the larger one. I am able to use smaller ones while I work at a larger capacity. I highly recommend that you have a 37-gal (2 compartments) and a 43-gal (1 compartment) at the same time in your backyard. They take care of your kitchen waste and are good for your gardening at the same time. I like them so much that I plan on getting another 43-gal one. But be advised, if you care about getting a smaller tumbler, understand before you order that they are quite small. Everything has its purposes, and they are really good for producing compost in a shorter period of time, but they do not hold waste well. I recommend getting a second one.

Check that doors slide prior to assembly
I’m sure the tumbler will function just fine. However I would suggest testing that the doors open and close properly at arrival. After constructing we realized the doors would not slide open and close. It was assembled properly. Didn’t feel like disassembling so used a nail drill to buff away enough of the plastic so that they would slide in and out. Was frustrating but otherwise the tumbler seems to function and was not missing any parts.

Double Compost Bin Assembly Don't Be Intimidated!
We just received our composter today, so I'm only going to give a review of the product thus far.My husband put it together on our kitchen island (it is very large) in 40 min. I've readreviews that it was very difficult to put together with a lot of expletives. He laid out the pieces, took inventory, andfollowed the enclosed directions. He literally had no issues. It is a little shorter than I anticipated, but we can put it on something if that becomes an issue. It seems to be very solid, and the bins spin very well independently. This is our first attempt at composting, and we are very eager to get started and have fresh compost for our garden.

Upgrading : Getting it together almost led to divorce
Edit : They really DO read the reviews and respond. I received an email apologizing for the difficulty with construction, providing a link to a new video that demonstrates how to put it together, and an offer of a full refund. Unheard of in my experience. It gives me new confidence in buying their products. And the composter itself continues to function as expected. We've almost filled up one side of it and are looking forward to rich compost this summer. The reviewers saying that it was "easy" appear to be reviewing a different composter. The instructions show lining up the side panels and sliding them together. It is literally impossible to do so, as everything is off by just a centimeter or so -- enough that it cannot possibly slide. I finally got the panels together through brute force and dumb luck. I recommend a rubber mallet and also your own screwdriver. The one supplied is too small and made of soft metal. MAKE SURE THAT THE DOORS SLIDE TO THE OUTSIDE TO OPEN. There is NOTHING in the instructions about this. We just lucked out putting it together. Also, turn it on the side to attach the second part D and upside down to attach the legs. It seems sturdy enough now, but time will tell.

Most expense piece of crap I've ever bought.
Thought this would be a relatively easy assembly - especially since I love putting things together. The panels that make up the sides of the tumblers are supposed to click and slide-lock together, but there is no really detailed directions on how to do this, and it is not intuitive just by looking at it. I got a few panels together by some miracle, but they easily unlock and fall apart when you try to get more connected. You're better off finder a compost tumbler that has large panels you affix with hardware, rather than this cheap crap.
