Stopped working on the first day
Don’t buy this. I was listening to an audio book CD, and it kept stopping. Completely stopping. The only way to get it to work is for me to take out the batteries and place them back in the player. And even then, it will only work for a few minutes and then completely stop working again.

Have had no operational issues with this player
My wife was very happy with this player. She didn't need anything fancy and for her use sound quality wasn't going to be much of an issue. Despite the price, I think it sounds ok with my headphones as well. I'm sure it would skip but hasn't but is mainly used as a stationary device here through a low cost victrola machine that didn't come with CD built in.
