They do actually work
Purchased for combating fungus gnat fly. It attracts and traps these flies (and the odd moth) extremely well and did so within hours. Yes, it does slightly cover the switch but it didn't seem to cause an issue for me. For the money, it's great value. I've bought 2 more units for other rooms and they come with spare refills. The refill paper slip easily into place and it was easy to remove the protective cover to expose the sticky surface that traps the flies. There is no smell and because they are small, they are not noticeable. It is a little like a night light, so bear that in mind if you have it in a bedroom.Update: the second two pictures are the sticky inserts when I changed them. These work so well!

Find the right location and they work well
I was unsure about these at first and 100% you need to try out different locations to find the best place in your own home for them to work for you. Once you find that spot you'll be amazed by the number of little flying critters these will catch. I have a fish tank and lots of house plants in one room and midges are really attracted to the moisture both create. These are super easy to setup and are really sticky so keep away from kids and pets. I highly recommend them.

Great Paperweight. Live in The UK? Don't waste your time.
Absolutely pointless product, that clearly hasn't been tested in the UK.Once you plug this product in the wall you will notice you'll be unable to access the power switch to turn it on.I had to add an adapter to over come this issue, however with this the product then extrudes too widely off of the wall, making it a hazard with young children around.The product will be returned.

They work, but I suggest using them alongside fruit fly liquid traps too
These plug-ins do work kind of. I am using them alongside "Super Ninja fruit fly liquid traps", and my fruit fly problem is now almost 100% gone in less than a week. The 2 plug-ins I bought have caught 9 flies total in 5 days, and the liquid traps caught A LOT. I am placing the liquid traps next to the plug-in, so maybe the blue light it makes is helping catch more in the liquid traps but I'm not sure. Overall I'd say it's worth trying out

Death of the flys
Oh my gosh this is actually amazing! This is only after 4 weeks in our kitchen and so many flys! I have tried so many different devices and methods to get rid of fruit flys and this actually works. 100% recommend!

Fitting
It doesn't fit a wall socket with an on/off swith as the plug is too wide.

Turns socket switch off
The design of this means that when I plug it in it flicks the on/off switch for the socket into the off position so is totally useless. Returned. If your sockets have switches, take a careful look at the design and see if you think the unit will press against the switch on yours before ordering.
