Gorilla Mode Base Pre-Workout (Cherry Blackout)

I drive wife insane and try new pre-workout powders occasionally. We now have a new favorite brand. We've had a couple other flavors and they taste great. We have not gotten the pro grade powder, mainly because this works well enough for us. The powder does mix well, but it does leave behind what I'd imagine is anti-caking powder with bitterent added to it. You learn to avoid the last swig of your drink as a result, no biggy, makes cleanup easier when rinsing out your shaker cup. I like the focus and mood supplements added to this, really does help get your workout going in a positive direction and carries throughout the day. My wife even commented on how her mood has improved, most notably with stress related to her work. My wife and I also have food sensitivities and this brand hasn't caused any digestive issues for us. We've had a couple brands that caused problems in that department, gas and bloated feeling. This is probably one of the most cleanest feeling pre-workouts I've had in awhile. I'd say give it a try.

Excellent pre workout. I have tried several pre workouts, most of them leave me feeling either anxious or they give me stomach problems which inevitably puts me in the bathroom during or after each workout, and leaves me feeling weak or sick. That is not the case here. Gorilla Minds base pre is simple and effective. It wakes me up and gives me the sustainability I need early in the morning to grind through a workout, always feeling great after I finish. I don’t consider myself caffeine sensitive, but a pre-workout with 200mg of caffeine is much more sustainable than the standard 300-400mg most have. Especially when you wake up to workout like 3AM, like me. I got the black cherry flavor, it’s fairly sweet but i wouldn’t say it’s bad at all, it dissolves pretty well but just like any pre workout it’s a mid drink, it’s less about the taste and more about the effects. I also love that there’s no Beta-Alanine in this formula, i hate the tingles and itch that supplement gives. All effective supplements with reasonable, well sized doses. I would recommend this to first time gym goers, and really anybody who goes to the gym regularly, since it’s more sustainable and safe long term than most super high stimulant overloaded pre workouts

One star and that’s pushing it. This is terrible. Black Cherry tastes like cough syrup. Reached out to them prior to review and received no reply. Terrible customer service and terrible product. I will not be buying from them again.

Taste is great for a pre workout. Not enough caffeine, and not a good pump.

I don’t really leave reviews but I want to because I enjoy this pre-workout. For context I’m a 35 years old wife and mom who’s overweight and trying to lose weight to better my health. I used to drink coffee early in the morning to give me the push to workout in the morning but it just didn’t happen. After I started using this pre-workout I feel motivated focused, etc. I wake up at 5, drink 1 scoop of this in a small glass of water at 5:30 then workout from 6-6:40 most mornings before I get ready for work. I’ve been able to be consistent with my workouts because I’m able to get past that hump of having the motivation/wanting to workout. It might be a placebo effect because I don’t think you can casually sip pre-workout out of a coffee mug (although I do) and not want to move your body. Either way this has been a game changer for me and I’m very happy with it.

Product exceeded my expectations. As always you can expect a good workout using any Gorilla Mind product. Base in my opinion tastes better than the original Mode, without sacrificing too much regarding on dosage of supplement. Will buy again!
