21-11047-02 Hood Quicklift Plus Fits Ford Ranger 2024+

I rely heavily on reviews of products to make purchasing decisions so I have been trying to do more myself. I recently bought a 2025 Ford Ranger Lariat with the 2.7L V6. I was surprised when I noticed it didn't come with support struts for the hood. After looking around on Amazon and reading reviews I decided to buy the Redline Tuning Hood Quicklift Plus System kit. I'm glad I did. Pros: Packaged in a heavy duty cardboard tube with all components wrapped individually to prevent damage during shipping. High quality components. Blemish free with quality construction and powder coating. Very easy installation. One bolt for the lower mount and one bolt for the upper mount on each side. The total installation time was about 10 minutes. Another reviewer suggested watching the installation video in the product listing. I would suggest watching it as well, makes it super easy. After watching the video I was able to do the installation without watching it again or looking at the included, color photo, directions. Works really well. Everything was in perfect alignment and operation was smooth the first time I closed and opened the hood. Cons: None, these are great. I would highly suggest getting these. They are high quality, easy to install and operate flawlessly. I would buy them again in a heart beat!

Was worried installation would be a hassle but it was quick and easy. Literally 5 minutes. I did put some. loctite on the upper mount threads. Fits well and doesn't impede on anything. Gas struts are just the right amount of force.

Fit like OEM product. Very easy installation.

I was impressed with how well it was packaged and the clear instructions. Be careful not to drop a bracket into the wheel well unless you need to build character. Product works like designed and is a definite upgrade which Ford should make a standard item.

Nice pair of hood struts. Bought for my 26 Ford Ranger lariat. All I can say is these are awesome. Pull hood release inside truck. hood pops up. Release hood latch. With gentle nudge. Hood raises higher then prop rod and no more burning hands on prop rod when engines hot. Pay attention to installation instructions as the Rods are mounted in a certain orientation. My truck should have came from factory with these. .

Installation took about 10 minutes. So simple and so effective.

The video was a great source to follow on installing. Build quality seems great and functionality works better than expected for the weight of the hood. It does open farther than the hood prop rod would for holding the hood and I like that if the strusts were to go out years from now. I will still have a backup. Eliminating the hood prop allows for more space to work in the engine bay. As well as it works and as easy as it was to install, the value was definitely worth it. !!Note--that you want to ensure the arm's for the lower struts have space on the sides from the frame of the truck.

easy to install. even I can do it 😳. sure makes opening the hood effortlessly. now when open the hood I don’t even think about it 😉

Good, however they don't lift on their own. They lift only with pushing. Stays up though.

These struts are everything they say they are. Easy to install and work perfectly. Love them

I have the Redline Struts installed on another vehicle and they are still working great after 13 years. For the 2024 Ranger they got their calculations wrong. The struts are way too strong for the application. It takes an excessive amount of force to close the hood. Since installing them the hood is much harder to unlatch. I'm afraid the release cable will fail eventually. Not impressed and not sure how to get this resolved.

I bought the item for my 2024 Ford Ranger. The day I went to install the unit plus I saw the video. It didn't fit . The coolant container was in the way where the lower shock goes on the right side . So I returned it and got my money back.

I was missing parts!!!
