Excellent spider catcher.
Love this spider catcher as it works well and every spider leaves my home still alive.

Excellent tool for arachnophobes.
I haven't tried any other battery type spider catchers so I can't compare this one to others bùt it's been one of the best things I've purchased in the past year. It's saved me from having to get near ANY spiders large or small as well as bees, wasps and flies which have arrived uninvited into my home. It's especially useful for ceiling spiders or ones which are generally too scarey or out of reach. I think I'll buy another so I have one upstairs and one downstairs at all times.. Nown'again the battery compartment falls apart but it's easy to put it back together again. Suction could possibly be a little stronger but then again its meant to save critters for relocation not mince them as a vacuum cleaner might. Some spiders just fight against being sucked into a tube and require a full battery's worth of suction. Definitely a worthwhile investment however.

Excellent Spider catcher - used it a lot this summer.
I purchased this mostly to catch spiders and it has been used a lot this summer! It has also been useful to catch other insects (beetles, wood lice, moths etc).I was surprised at how well it worked. It is also gentle enough that you can release the spider/insect after capture.I have given it 4 stars due to the fiddly battery compartment. It takes a few attempts to line everything up to enable refitting the end cap. Maybe needs a design rethink.I would also prefer a momentary switch rather than an on/off switch so that the motor is only running while you are pressing the button. I found that my daughter would turn the switch on and leave it running unnecessarily leading to the battery running out of power prematurely.Despite these minor reservations I would recommend it.

Excellent for scaredy-cats like me!!
I'm terrified of spiders and this thing is soo darn good that I bought two - one to keep beside my bed(!) and one in another room. I feel safely at a distance when I catch the spider - the suction is strong yet kind - I pop the lid on it and walk it down to the bottom of the road and shake the spider free - again, nicely at arm's length. I've even bought these as presents for family - highly recommend!!

Weak suction but it works well
Comparing with a vacuum cleaner it's very weak, to be expectedBut it works greatI mostly use on moths and small spidersFor what it is and the quality I think it should cost £8-£10.. It feels like a kids toybut having tried it, if it ever broke I would reluctantly buy again

Great way to deal with insects without harming them. Kids love it!
Love this product! Big enough for larger insects, and doesn't harm them. The kids love sucking up spiders and bees from our Velux windows.

Very useful gadget.
This is the second one I've had as last one broke after several years of use. I couldn't be without one. Very useful for catching flies and spiders. Good length for reaching up high into corners/walls/ceilings.
