I have multiple medical issues that I'm dealing with and not wanting to go to pills for the relief. Three failed surgeries on my back in my cervical/thoracic and lumbar, ligaments that are ossifying, ganglion cyst on my wrist, psoriatic arthritis that manifests on only my left foot/nails and splits the thick, brittle nails down the middle and they just break off. Also had surgery on my right foot and have 3 plates and 18 screws, and the hardware causes a lot of muscle pain as the muscles move over the hardware. And while I'm at it, there's those ugly varicose veins. Oh, let's not forget those annoying floaters in my eyes that always stop right in front when I'm trying to read! So I got this product after reading much about DMSO on the blog midwestern doctor who recommended this brand. I have diluted one bottle 70% (7 parts DMSO and 1 part purified water), and another small bottle with 50% DMSO and Castor Oil and use the castor oil blend for my floaters. After just 4 days now, just 1 drop on my finger and touching that to each eye, it seems to me that my floaters are lighter than they were before! It slightly stings, but this is what the article said would happen, and it stops quickly. I will keep using it. On all the rest of my areas, I am using it twice a day, just a few drops. You just have to remember to have your skin clean of every particle of soap/chemicals... I slipped and my bottle tipped and slopped on my nightgown and some slipper socks nearby the spill. I couldn't believe it! The purple on the slipper sock started dissolving but not the cotton part, just the synthetic... And on the nightgown, the synthetic fibers that ran one direction were dissolved completely but the cotton fibers the other direction were fine! But in the book I ordered, it said it is ok to use stainless steel and glass to mix with, but be sure to put them in amber glass. I had some little blue bottles (very little, maybe enough for 10-15 drops) and the outside of the bottle was apparently painted, and not fully colored all the way through, because the DMSO made the blue color come off the bottle, yet the oil on the inside was clear, so the color was not inside... just on the outside. So get amber that is colored all the way. I have had no staining on my clothing or hands, even when I used it without diluting it. At the biggening, I used it straight on my skin, which is (not what the book I later bought instructed, because it could have caused a strong reaction. But I had no irritation or reaction. I could slightly taste the product when I swallowed but it wasn't bad. I didn't notice any odor, though. Nobody has commented on any odor, either. My elbows are clearing up. Still has a little to go before they are completely healed, but they are more than 75% healed! And some of my varicose veins are also lightening. I don't know how long it takes until they will be gone, but it's a good start. My book says that for my back and hip, I need to give it about 8 weeks twice a day at 70% to start feeling full benefits of the product, for the osteoarthritis. I do feel that my foot with the hardware is easier to walk, but I still have stiffness and some discomfort, but it's ONLY 4 DAYS!!! So, I am very encouraged. I bought 3 bottles, and I figured that it will last longer since I'm diluting it. My book also said to try the topically for 30 days before trying internally (which is not FDA approved, use at your/my own risk!). But my physical therapist said that DMSO is good for the gut, though he didn't say much else. I am 65 yrs old, and for me to feel the little bit of relief I have so far is better than none at all without it. But I suggest you buy a book that give you further instructions on how to use it before you start. It will help you avoid serious errors.

I found this product very useful. I used a 50:50 solution, half DMSO and half distilled water in a sanitized glass bottle with dropper. To avoid the potential garlicky odor, I added 3 drops of organic lavender essential oil to the 4 ml bottle. I did not have any trouble with odor after that. When mixing the solution, ensure all objects are sanitized. When adding water to the DMSO, the glass bottle heated up. This is a chemical reaction. The heat dissipates after a little while. It was easy to use with the glass bottle and dropper. I applied just enough to cover the area and then applied my other medication. Applying to the skin initially caused a slight itchy feeling that wasn’t unbearable and went away within 5-10 minutes of application. When using, make sure your hands are clean (don’t use gloves) and the area where it is to be applied is also clean. After applying, ensure the area can dry completely before allowing anything else to come in contact with the application site. DMSO does increase absorption into the skin of whatever comes into contact with it. So the chemicals in your clothing from laundry detergent and dryer sheets will also be absorbed if you immediately place clothing on top. It enhanced the effects of medicinal creams I had to use and treatment was much more effective than with the creams alone. The only downside I’ve found is that it does affect my thyroid levels about a week into use. After discontinuing use, thyroid levels returned to my baseline after a few weeks. But, given how quickly my other malady improved, I found it a worthwhile trade off for a temporary increase in TSH.

We read the book all about this by Volman. Taking it with juice and feel less aches and pains within 20mins. Only thing I've noticed is my husband has a new body odor like decaying flowers. I'm sure everyone has different body chemistry and won't experience this side effect. I'm hoping it's temporary. My sense of smell is high since my last pregnancy in 2023.

I am excited to receive this! I ordered it to use on my old dog. She’s having pain in her hip. But before I use it on my dog, I feel the need to test it on myself. My main concern is: I don’t want to cause a rash on her skin. Well, it just so happens that I was having a lot of pain in my hand. Perfect! I tested it on me first. I already have some pure Frankincense oil, so I applied a few drops of the oil onto my clean hand and then applied the DMSO on top. The pain decreased by about 90%. I later applied it a second time. viola, pain gone. Come here Alison.

I had recently seen some articles about DMSO. I did some research and ended up finding it on Amazon. The directions don't really tell you what to do with it but I have now been using it for 2 weeks. I have to say I am absolutely amazed! I have herniated discs in my back and I'm trying to get off of ibuprofen so I decided to give DMSO a try. I am extremely happy at the results of it. It does burn when I apply it to the skin so after researching it, I found out you need to mix it with distilled water. I also put a oil on my skin before I apply it. It takes an hour to start working but the results are amazing! I have applied it daily for the last 2 weeks, three times a day. It has a garlic smell but once it is mixed with the distilled water, it really does not have too much of a smell and the smell does not stick with you.
