Great paper, smooth and very practical pad
This is a great paper, super smooth (a high end hotpressed) I did a quick tree and then on the back of the paper made some layers of color. The paper will hold just fine lots of layers as long as you don't put too much water and work fast (cause it dries super quick). It has a beautiful light ivory-like tone. I am very happy with this paper. I also like the weight of the paper, and it is firmly attached to the sides, though it does have an opening on the upper side to lift it, be aware that water may slip through there since it is a fairly large opening. For the downside, If you use too much water on layering it will start to fall apart and will warp a lot, even if it is fixed to the sides, it can take only acertain amount of water, so you'll need to find that amount and then you will be very happy with this paper.

Very Good Paper
Near-smooth paper with a very fine tooth. The saturation is good with only a little pigment settling. You can lift paint better than your standard academic paper of the same weight and press. Since it's only 140lb/300gsm, you can only rough up the papera little bit before running into issues. There's some resistance when pulling up heavier pigments such as your blues but if your careful, patient and practiced you can get a heavily saturated spot to the equililent of a muddled wash. If you like to pack on layers than you will be very happy with this paper. I really like how thin the paper is and the quality. I can tell it's on the nicer side of what you typically find in a commercial art store. I would suggest this to students and artist's on a budget. Easily better than Strathmore but nothing like Arches. The price is very comfortable for the quality and quantity.

Excellent Paper for Colored Pencil with Solvent
This (hot pressed) paper is great for working with colored pencils and solvent. It takes A LOT of layers, including multiple layers blended with solvent. I haven't had any problem with warping, especially with the glue holding the paper firmly in place. I've deducted a star only because as others have said, it's extremely difficult to get the pages apart, and I've torn the paper a few times. I'm using it primarily for practicing at this point, so I'm not too bothered by it. Overall, if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive paper that interacts well with colored pencils and solvent, this is the one to get.

Love it!
So far I've I tested watercolor, colored pencil, and a little bit of gouache on this paper. It's wonderful for watercolor and gouache (and I'm sure for acrylics as well). Watercolor is semi-permanent on this paper which I like but others may not. It's not my favorite for colored pencil (I prefer an even smoother surface) but I realize this isn't made for pencil. There was minimal warping which went away on its own and it stood up to a lot of water and scrubbing.

A quite nice product for a decent price
I had never used hot press watercolor paper or Meeden paper before, so I was looking forward to trying this out. Mine came with a neat little tool to help release the paper from the block when you are done painting. The paper stood up to quite a few layers without pilling. I didn't use an enormous amount of water, so I can't speak to any buckling or not. But the paper held nicely on the block but also released nicely when I was ready for it to. Overall I was very happy with the quality of this paper, the price point of it, and will happily buy more of it in different sizes. I also am planning on purchasing some in cold press, so that I can see how that compares to other 100% cotton papers like Bee Paper and of course Arches. I am excited to continue playing around with this one!

Nice Quality
Nice paper. I really like painting on a block. This paper takes water and pigment well, and is a good size for small studies. I wish it was a brighter white, but the color is acceptable.

Excellent product.
This block is perfect. Easy to paint on and can take a ton of water if needed. I love that when I take the top sheet off, the next one is fresh and clean and ready to paint. The size is perfect for what I need. It also could be used with 1/2 sheets for cardmaking if that is what you like to do.

Not my favorite
The paper is ok, but it doesn't absorb water like other watercolor papers. It's cotton, but where other cotton papers do half the job for you this one is keeping you on your toes.

Like the paper, seems durable and nice quality
I like it! Nice and smooth and can take plenty of water. Haven’t tried anything too elaborate yet, but it has held shape quite well and doesn’t damage easily. Looking forward to experimenting on it.

Lo consiglio!
Esce anche quella fogliolina di plastica per separare i fogli, non me lo aspettavo! 100% cotone, e a un prezzo ragionevole

Perfect product for vibrant paintings
The texture of the paper makes watercolor, ink & polychromos pencils look more vibrant. I haven't tried other mediums but I love the end results of my paintings

Avoid!
Awful. Paper all stuck together. Impossible to unpack the individual sheets without damaging them, making this paper useless for serious artists.
