This product is exactly as it was listed and honestly exceeded my expectations in several ways. It is very lightweight, easy to set up, and extremely simple to use. I was looking for something that would make things easier during the transition, and this worked really well for us. The color is exactly what I wanted and looks just like the listing photos. I also really love the inserts that come with it. They made the transition much easier and helped my daughter get comfortable with it. The carrier itself is lightweight, which was especially important to me because I didn't want something bulky or heavy to carry around. It is easy to hold, easy to clean, and convenient to use on a regular basis. One of my favorite features is the shade. Being able to pull it down all the way was perfect for protecting my daughter from the weather and other outdoor elements. It provides great coverage without making the carrier feel overly bulky. The only issue I've noticed is that sometimes the handle catches when you're trying to use it. It's a little frustrating when it happens because you have to adjust it before continuing, but it hasn't been a major problem overall. Other than that small issue, I am extremely happy with this purchase. It is lightweight, practical, easy to clean, easy to use, and has features that actually make a difference. The inserts were especially helpful for us, and the full-coverage shade is a great addition. This will definitely be my go-to, and I would absolutely recommend it to other parents looking for something similar.

LOVE this carseat. It’s the lightest one we could find and makes transferring from car to stroller super easy. Fit my 6lb newborn well and still working great at 13lbs, I expect most babies outgrow this car seat based on height instead of weight but we still have a good amount of time with it I think! Seems comfortable and secure, but the harness is still pretty easy to adjust. The initial installation of the base was a pain, and we did have to level it with a towel underneath, but once we did that it has been extremely stable in our car. We haven’t used it without the base yet but like that you have the option to do so (and we will when we travel over the holidays). Definitely recommend installing and practicing with this car seat a few times before delivery day, but once you’ve used it a few times, it’s super straightforward!

I am a first-time mom of a 5 week old and I spent a lot of time researching which car seat to purchase for my newborn. I have back pain and a herniated disc so I was looking for something lightweight. The Aria car seat is exactly what I needed! It is very lightweight and easy to hold, even with the baby inside, which makes it very easy to transport. Installing the base was simple. We watched online videos to understand how it works and also went to a local firehouse to get it checked. Once the base is installed, it is very easy to put the car seat into place and ensure it is secured. The seat holds our newborn snugly and it is simple to tighten the straps so I feel that he is secure. I also like the padded straps near his neck because they are soft and do not cut him. Our baby has already taken a couple of naps in the car seat, which shows that he is comfortable. I also like that it is compatible with other UPPAbaby products. We have the Cruz V2 stroller and can easily attach this car seat for outings. The cozy ganoosh fits perfectly for winter and keeps him warm. Overall, I would definitely purchase this car seat again for another child and I look forward to continuing to use it while my baby is little!

I have had 3 different infant car seats and this has been my favorite by far! It’s very light weight and my baby does great in it for both long or short car trips. The material feels very nice and it’s easy to clean. My only complaint is that the base seems to loosen or become unbalanced. It’s an easy fix, so it’s really not a big deal.

Update: Our son grew out of it after 5 months! He's a big boy (95% height) and maybe we could have used it for another month, but still that's REALLY fast. The carseat is a bit cramped I think, although I suppose that also makes it small and a better fit for small cars. Downgrading to 4. We had some trouble fitting it level into our car because we have a small car with very slanted back seats. However, we compared it to the Nuna Pipa RX, and that one was even less level in our car (and a little longer, reducing the available front passenger space). In the end, we had to use some towels to prop it up to be the correct level for a newborn. This is what the fire department recommended our friends with a similar issue and it works for us. Everything else about this carseat is great. It's light weight and stylish, it's a good fit for our family.
