I purchased this just for fun, and I have to say that this light/lamp is very clever and looks terrific. The setup couldn't have been more straightforward, and everything was up and working in under 10 minutes. Pairing it with the Alexa app was simple, and I can control most of its features with Alexa; however, for full functionality, it does require an additional application, which was also straightforward. The lamp appears well-made, but I don't think it would withstand being knocked off a table onto hard flooring or banging against furniture. The lights and lighting effects are stunning and completely mesmerising, and colours can be vibrant or mellow, that's entirely up to you. I have been playing with it for about an hour and am already in love. I am looking forward to trying out the many options available. Definitely worth the money.

Very pleased with this lamp. It looks great on the bedside table, the touch controls are responsive, and the brightness is easy to adjust. The Alexa integration works flawlessly, making it really convenient to turn on, off, or change settings with voice commands. The light is warm and pleasant, and the overall quality is excellent for the price.

I love lights ! This is a fantastic lamp, which led to purchasing another once I saw what it could do . I have these behind my TV so they illuminate most of my back wall. The lamps are glossy grey with clear bases so they look quite unassuming till you turn them . There are basic functions using the top touch sensitive buttons which cycle colour or some of the basic animations. The full fat version requires the Govee app , this gives all the capabilities of the lamps functions and allows syncing of two lamps.so they mirror each other . You can flick between sync or individual control. I haven't linked the lamps through Google home as our router is bi band and sticks to the 5Ghz which doesn't work with the lamps (2.5Ghz) but the app is linked via Bluetooth and works fine. Generally the app works very well but you need location on (Sony Xperia 1 V) for some reason for the lamps to be detected. The app it's self is great , well laid out and all help services ,live chat can be accessed along with a help full forum. I'd you purchase the dreamscape TV sensor the lamps will mimic your TVs coloy output (think Philips ambi light) The brightness is extremely good , even on mid settings the output is pleasing. They come well packed and with power adapters , the cable is fairly long but I've used an extension on one . They are also light weight so no issues with adding onto shelving. I'm really happy with them. No noticeable difference on our electricity bill as we run them soon as it's dark . Which is another cool feature via app , automatic on and off via sunrise and sunset Plus single tap if using by a bedside at night to run on. I think the cost is related more with keeping the app alive and growing the item functions and new products, but they have replaced my mathmos lamps which were great at the time but as The Doc says "Roads? Where we're going,we don't need roads ."

This is a really cool piece of kit, I like how I am able to adapt the light to how I want it and there are also so many other options available on the app too. The lamp gives off a lot of light when being used as a light source too. The app was really easy to set up and it also connected to my echo quickly. The touch buttons on the top are also really handy, I use mine at my desk so when I’m at work I can adapt it to suit my mood or just as something nice to look at. The music function works well too and I’m glad it can actually listen from the light itself rather than relying on my phone microphone or similar. I would say it’s about as big as I expected it to be, and is about two tins tall? I think it’s quite a bit of money to spend on such an item but its abilities and uses kind of make up for that!

I love this lamp - super flexible with some very interesting inbuilt designs and even better, you have a mode where you can 'paint' your own scenes. Not played with it yet, but there's also API access that give you ability to integrate with smart homes in a way that is MUCH better than standard HomeKit/Matter and another LAN version of API access that gives you full control - really looking forward to fiddling with these 😍 The quality of the light is lovely and it's well built. Pairing with wifi can be a bit tricky - make sure you follow Govee's well-written instructions. Absolutely loving the ambience the lamp creates! Also worth commenting on Govee's customer service. There was a wifi connectivity issue on the lamp when I received it, but please don't take this as a negative. Every now and then there will always be issues with items - it's how the company deals with them that matters. Govee were OUTSTANDING, super quick resolution + fast and friendly service. One of the best companies that I have dealt with in a long time, and they really went the extra mile to sort things out with as little friction as possible - wish every company was like this.

Reviewed at coupon price (£48). The lamp is well packed with a white plug (quite thin, so it can hide behind the bedside table) and thin white removable lead. The dome and base are plastic, not glass, which is preferable for a bedside lamp. (That observation is borne of experience). The underside of the base is solid plastic. That might seem an obscure comment, but it is amazing how many lamps, even expensive ones, have fibre or even paper (!) there. The light quality is good with a big variation from faint to, really, far too bright for a bedside lamp. Colours are vivid although blue and cyan are slightly less punchy than the rest; I have seen this elsewhere and assume that it is due to a general limitation of coloured LEDs. Setup is done from Govee's app (Android here) via the usual rather tiresome exercise of pairing with Bluetooth then your home WiFi network. After many failed attempts I finally managed to get a good network throughout the house including the bedroom (not easy when it is 140 years old) and, with that, (re)configuring the lamp is simple; without decent WiFi doing so would be a nuisance as the lamp would have to be moved every time you want to change the settings. The buttons on the top are the only weakness. There are + and - (brightness), o (on and off) in the middle and two others. One cycles through various pre-set static colours and colour temperatures of white and the other cycles through various pre-set dynamic displays. The problem with that is that, if you have colour settings not part of either of those cycles (see below), they are hidden instantly on pressing either of the buttons: the buttons, when first touched, show a bright white highlight but you will generally be pressing them from below, so the highlight is out of view. The fix is to press the appropriate button of the two about half-a-dozen times until the colour settings reappear, as they are saved, despite appearances. An attempted fix, which is far from perfect, is an option in the app (Device Settings > Bedroom Switch) which allows the body of the lamp, rather than the o button, to be touched to switch it on between two defined times; the o button must still be used to switch it off. Unfortunately, this option is unreliable, and wavers between just about having to give the lamp a knockout blow to turn it on and the lamp turning on spontaneously when there is vibration. Recently, an option has appeared under Bedroom Switch to change the sensitivity of the touch. It defaults to 70%, but reducing it to 25% is better. However, that the time this option is available is fixed at 1800-0800 remains. Why can it not be any time interval, or 24 hours? The app is, like other vendors', a store front, but faster and less annoying than most and offers a big range of preset static and dynamic lighting schemes. I particularly like the ones which reproduce the colours of the planets, and have Jupiter next to my bed. As well as the dubious delights of AI (you talk to the app and it interprets what you say as a design) there is a clever paint tool which, among others, allows you to design "emoji" on a grid, colour them then have the lamp reproduce them (fuzzily). There is a new option to remove the dubious features from display. It would have been useful not to have to set up an account to be able to do all this - having an account is forced - although after I add more lighting the account will probably come in useful when I ultimately get a new phone as the (by then extensive) settings will be stored in the cloud. Local backups, unfortunately, are generally an unknown concept nowadays. I was rationalising my lighting - to get rid of a jumble of different smart devices - wore the manufacturers down to two and finally chose Govee over Philips because the second's lamps are a bit weak. That turned out to be a good decision, and I will be buying Govee smart bulbs and a floor lamp soon. Four stars because of the shaky touch on/off, which is so close to being right.

I bought some cheaper multi coloured lamps on amazon and they were frankly a complete waste of moneywith dodgy electrics. So I decided to spalsh some decent money on one and hope for the best. I wasn't letdown by this lamp is a good solid design worth an array of colours and patterns. It's very bright for small rooms plus with the app you can create your own design. I'm verity impressed with this, yes it costs a few quid but it's definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

First off the bat, I'm a Twinkly and Hue fella, but in my home office I bought an LED strip for around my computer desk and like them and the effects (though not the app) and have had my eye on this lamp for a few months, so decided to jump on a special offer to offer something different. Now, I love old school Lava lamps, and while this isn't the same thing it does give me a nostalgic 'glow' inside. It's a decent enough size, and although I have mine in my office I think these would look quite nice on a bedside cabinet to give a nice relaxing glow before bedtime, or in a living room. You can adjust the brightness and colours using the manual buttons on top, or have far more customisation choices in the Govee app. which although not the easiest thing to navigate through, it gives a decent amount of control and automation. You can have solid colours or swirling / moving effects which are really nice and a bit different. The Lamp has also been picked up by my Alexa app so I have included the lamp in some evening routines too. Really impressed with this lamp, so much so that I may well accidentally buy a couple more when on offer again in the future.

Es muy fácil de configurar incluso con iOS , tiene muchos modos y por el precio merece mucho la pena , es muy bonita y queda bien en todas las habitaciones , la recomiendo para habitaciones no muy grandes

Govee product, one of the best lights products on the market

Produkt wysokiej jakości, elegancki i nowoczesny. Najbardziej podoba mi się animacja ognia oraz akwarium. Dobra reakcja na dźwięk, lepsza niż w wielu sterownikach, które posiadam. Od wielu lat używam pasków oraz tablic LED ARGB, ale ta lampka zrobiła na mnie piorunujące wrażenie, ma się wrażenie że wewnątrz lampki istnieje życie lub jakaś magia. Tablica LED musi mieć dużą rozdzielczość, bo spowolnienie animacji nie powoduje efektu klatkowania i zawsze jest tak samo płynna. Bardzo dopracowany produkt godny polecenia, jest lepiej niż oczekiwałem.

Spedizione perfetta come di consueto. La lampada è davvero ben fatta, con colori neutri direi compatibili con gran parte degli stili di arredamento che si possono avere in casa. Personalmente l'ho posizionata sul comodino di fianco al letto. E' la seconda lampada Govee che acquisto. I punti forti di questo articolo sono secondo me: - compattezza delle dimensioni; - facilità di controllo anche dalla lampada stessa, senza necessità di utilizzare lo smartphone, principalmente quando si ha necessità di utilizzarla come semplice fonte luminosa; - app davvero ben funzionante; - intensità della luce regolabile; - l'oggetto è esteticamente gradevole, molto neutro. Vorrei precisare che la lampada non ha una luminosità così intensa da illuminare da sola una stanza, ma sicuramente è in grado di produrre grande luce in un'area limitata o creare luce di atmosfera
