Good amount. Works well for coverage in an isopod culture. Very thick. Some are very pointy & sharp.

I do not know where these came from but they are absolutely NOT oak leaves!!! 90% of the leaves are some type of sharp, spiky, thorny leaves from a bush which are totally unsuitable for reptiles with soft skin. They are also extremely filthy. I initially tried rinsing them off and picking out the thorny leaves but after several punctures to my hands I gave up. I also now have painful rash area on the areas the leaves touched my hands. A complete waste of money and false advertising on behalf of the seller.

I use this leaf litter for my hermit crabs, vampire crabs and snakes. Good quality and quantity. Worth the buy they all love it in their enclosures. The crabs like to forge on it and eat it. Will be buying more.

This really made the difference in my turtles layout. Good quality and quantity. Will purchase again.

I like the small size for my terrarium, but a lot of the leaves were too pointy and I ended up removing over half of them so they didn’t injury my tree frogs. Some came cracked or broken, which made them even sharper. They have a strong smell too, but nothing too bad. Some were dirty as well. Overall, not too bad but a waste having to remove so much.

Idk what kind of oak these are off off but they are spiny AF and have little thorns around the outside of the leaves almost like Holly. Definitely not something I’m risking in a reptile tank as it could easily damage an eye. Unfortunately it’s now $8 wasted since it’s “non refundable due to food safety”……it’s not even FOOD! Do not order this.

These are great! To all the people who complain about the edges being sharp - yes they are, but in the listing photos it says to investigate and trim off sharp edges. It took me about an hour to mist, let them soften (most of the time) and trim the edges. It makes me much more comfortable having the leaf litter in as I know the chances for impaction go down greatly for my frogs. Half a bag covered the bottom very comfortably with lots of overlap in my 18x18x24 terrarium. I left a couple of places a little bit more bare than others intentionally while most of the tank has a thick layer.

Not sharp at all, please don’t forget to get the leaf litter misted before complaining about one leaf being too sharp. My snake loved them immediately, I was at first skeptical because out boa didn’t used to have leaf litter but it’s her new favourite part of her enclosure, I see her out more now! After spraying with a little water they expanded and some leaves have been reviewed as sharp but it’s not bad and it’s only a few of the leaves, they’re just fine for all reptiles i’m sure.
