I've had my Sundara headphones for one year and the cushions were getting flat. I have an average sized head and on average wear them for about three hours per day. I listen to music, PC game, and watch movies with them.The install was pretty simple. Match up the clips to the grooves and they went on. The cushions are comfortable and didn't cause any discomfort. I'll see how they hold up versus the originals. They feel more firm so I think they'll do well.

They are comfortable but make the sound quality worse and very muffled. Wouldn’t recommend.

I had some reservations about getting new ear pads for my Hifiman HE4XX headphones when the OEM ones began to deteriorate and flake, because I read that installing new ear pads can kind of be a pain with these particular headphones. I was very wrong and these were super easy to install, no need for glue or tearing things about. The frame that holds the earpads aren't that difficult to remove and remain very secure afterwards. These are very comfortable and encapsulate my ears pretty well, even during longer sessions listening to music or playing games.

I like everything about these pads. They're comfy, well made, and the cooling gel definitely works. There's something about these pads that helps with seal and helps bass translate to your head and it's definitely very noticeable. Mids and highs keep a good ratio and overall the sound signature changes that come with these are actually really good. I just wish they were deeper, like 35-40mm deep.

The earpads themselves are quite comfortable and sit fairly comfortably over the ears. Having the layer of gel inside helps keep cool for a while, but you'll probably still find it warm for listening sessions lasting over an hour. These came with a mounting ring pre-installed, which is nice and made replacing the broken ones on my Hifiman HE350's easy because the OEM set snapped.

I'm almost ALWAYS a big fan of the cooling gel pads.They add a bit more low end, especially helps open backs, similar to if you went with the infamous "D" brand's Choice Leather or solid sheepskin. Not as much detail/resolve down there, but you'd have to essentially A/B them to really tell. The best thing about the cooling gel style is for anything who wears glasses. They don't pin your glasses against your head, but aren't fuzzy and itchy the way velour pads are.Unfortunately, this pair had the OPPOSITE effect on the sound, and that was after it took some time to actually get them to fit. Something about the rings didn't exactly line up and took a while for me to notice it.With these, any and all low end/bass/sub-bass is essentially non-existent. It's worse than when you swap from D's Choice Leather on some Beyer's to the stock velour for production purposes.The difference being that at least you can still EQ and get the sound you want from the latter. These pads? I lost all low end, and it would have started clipping the drivers if I tried boosting it any. The mids has a weird scoop in some areas with spikes in others, and the highs were just noise.They genuinely sounded like I was wearing a Plantronics headset with an attached mic that's only supposed to be used for calling people. As if they push the drivers too far from your head, while refusing to create any form of seal around your ear at the same time, resulting in WAY too much of audio just sounding very odd in places, and absolutely horrific in others.Other than ruining the sound and one of the rings not being right (looks like its a basic manufacturing tolerance so I wouldn't let that deter you from ordering them) BUT I just can't get past the awful sound quality.Again, for ALL the other cooling gels pads I've tried on everything from other Hifiman to Sennheiser, Beyer, AKG, and Audeze? They've been great. Just something about the combination of these pads on the advertised Hifiman and even on a pair of Fiio FT1's/FT1 Pros.That's why I can't even give it 3 stars. The Listed Hifiman was bad. We tried them on the two newer models from Fiio as well, the FT1 and FT1 Pro. They DO FIT, if you're looking for replacement pads. BUT, they destroy the audio from the FT1 even worse than the Hifiman, so at this point we don't want to use them on anything. I usually can't stand velour/jersey style against my face/ears. But for both Hifiman and Fiio, their stock pads are genuinely less awkward and sound infinitely better.

I found them pretty easy to install and they seem a bit more durable compared to the oem ones which had started to lose its outer coating. The appearance is very cohesive with the look of the headphones and the sound quality is every bit as good. They seem durable and easy to clean. I am grateful to have them and they are an improvement over the originals which needed replacing after several years of use.
