Clean lines, clean tank
I beleive in Roebic products. From tank or line sludge to roots. Identify the issue and have Roebic eat it clean. In my newer neighborhood systems are getting pumped, and sometimes more than once. That means they aren't getting the field lines cleaned. Specific line cleaners will do the job. If the lines are getting cleaned you know your tank is too, especially if the tank was pumped out properly. Make sense? Get the line cleaner. Stay ahead of the game.

Cautiously optimistic...
I live in an older house with the original septic system. I had accepted the idea that every 6 months to a year, I would have to have a plumber come and rooter the major lines going to the septic. Either the toilets would gurgle and everything would back up into the shower or my washing machine would overflow. I was warned that I may need major repairs including new lines. After the last back up, I tried this. I was pretty conservative with water use for a few days after, but so far, everything is working fine. A few days after I used this, I used the root remover product since I have many trees on my property. I've ordered a few more bottles of the K-57 and am using it every two weeks for six weeks just for good measure. After that, I plan to switch to the maintenance product. Even if I use this once a month, the cost is far less than the major work the plumber said I needed. I'd give 5-stars, but it's only been a few weeks. I would definitely suggest trying this product before making costly repairs.

Great product for dissolving clogs in old houses
Great for old houses. I've had my outside pipes relined and replaced many pipes after purchasing an old house. (Home is now 100 years old). Despite doing this I periodically have plumbing problems with one of my toilets. And, this product can be put directly into toilets as opposed to most products. I do not have a septic tank, however product dissolves whatever is in the pipes. When the situation is quite backed up I'll use this two to three nights in a row. If situation is worse than bad I'd recommend using it along with a drain auger. However, if one is smart and regularly uses this profuct they won't need the auger.

Drain and septic system cleaners
I use all of their products for my own home and the homes of my two daughters and have never had a problem since I started using all of their septic supplies! Great stuff for yearly maintenance needs.

Not sure
3 stars - I tried the K 57 septic cleaner, but to be honest, I didn't notice much of a difference in my septic system's performance. The product was easy to pour and use, which was a plus. However, without any noticeable benefits or improvements, it's hard to say whether it's truly effective. Maybe it's working behind the scenes, but for now, I'm neutral on its effectiveness. If you're looking for a septic cleaner, you might want to try this one, but I'd love to hear from others who have had more experience with it.

This avoids disaster
I had nothing but problems with my septic system until I began using Roebic products. Highly recommend to clear out the pipes and maintain the tank. I don't usually write reviews, but this product saved me thousands of dollars and the mess of overflowing toilets.

Saved me $40,000
Had bubbles coming from the toilet when I would take a shower, smelled like sewage. Dug up the cover for my septic tank and had it pumped. After calling my mother i found out that the last time my dad had it pumped was when i was 5 or 6 years old, I'm now 47 and have owned the house for 20 years. I also found out from my research that you are supposed to get a septic tank pumped every 4 or 5 years, so i was only 36 years overdue. The guy who pumped it said it was the worst one he had seen in the 5 years he has worked in septic services.I then had a camera run down into the distribution box. Standing water filled the pipe from the outlet baffle down to the distribution box. The septic tech told me my leach field was shot. Due to my neighbor having a raised bed leach field he told me that was what I was likely going to have to replace mine with. A raised bed leach field in Northern Delaware was gonna run around $40,000 with permits, perc tests and installation, as well as taking 3+ months to swap out.I decided I'd try a cheaper option or two before dropping $40 grand. I looked around for about 2 weeks learning what I could about how septic tanks worked and the problems people have with them. I learned that if the leach field won't drain properly but the pipes haven't collapsed that there might be something called bio-mat keeping it from draining. Bio-mat is a layer of bacteria from the water in the pipes that forms under the leach field acting almost like a tarp, blocking water from absorbing into the soil the way it should. I found a youtube video of a woman in Florida using this to get rid of the bio-mat and recover her system. Willing to drop $100 or so to avoid spending $40,000 I bought 4 bottles of this and 4 bottles of leach and drain field treatment (also from roebic). I used 1 bottle of each every 2 weeks for 2 months and then set up subscribe and save for 2 bottles every month. It's been 3 months and so far no bubbles from the toilet, the line to my distribution box looks clear with no standing water in it.Fingers crossed this may have fixed my problems for about 1% of what I was told it would cost me.I LOVE THIS COMPANY. Could not be happier. This is absolutely worth trying before replacing a leach field unless they run the camera down the actual field lines and confirm collapsed pipes.
