It's a keeper to be sure. BRIGHT AS HECK and in the correct wavelength so you can see what you're aiming at. THANK YOU FOR THAT!I'll put it this way... when you fire it up, do NOT point it at the carpet if you're not the first tenant in your apartment. Nice little light. We got it to find tomato worms. Apparently it makes them glow!

Why I Got This:I got this to be able to see liquid spills and any biohazards. Both at home and when traveling.Effectiveness/impressions:This is surprisingly much brighter than I was expecting for such a small light. It puts out a very intense UV light that has both a spot and a fill component to the beam. It easily will project out to 30 feet and beyond and brightly illuminates any fluoresce compounds. I was primarily using it for chemical spills and soap. It would brightly illuminate any bio-compounds. I was able to clearly see any all bio-compounds in a small 10x10 roomBuild Quality:The build quality of this light is excellent. It has a thick aluminum casing and a very durable lens cover that appears to be glass. The switch and USB ports are well protected.Design:The Design is excellent. The location of the rear button and usb charging port are well placed on the back. The all-aluminum body has a slight texture to it making it easy to grip and holdEase of Use:Very easy to use. I am able to hold and turn this on and off one handed no problem. The included instructions were clear and easy to use. It is very small and fits in the palm of your hand. I really liked the illuminated charge light green/red to show you when it’s charged up. This would be a great item to carry for inspecting hotels.Battery Life is no problem from my experience. It runs continuously for at least an hour.Pros and Cons: Pros-Very Bright and Easy to use one handed. Very well built and materials. Included USB cord and the ability to charge it is a great advantage. Cons- I can not find anyConclusion:This is absolutely a very good UV light that works as advertised and very useful to detect bio-compounds. I am very happy with this light.

It's pretty bright, small enough to carry easily but the beam is wide enough and strong enough to go hunting with. LOVE that it's rechargeable and that it uses a standard cord.

Emerahgerd!I got this flashlight because a friend with pets said it was an effective tool to find out if your dog or cat has had an accident somewhere. I had no idea that every hairball puke I THOUGHT I had thoroughly cleaned up would SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND under this UV light. Definitely more than I bargained for.Everywhere we signed the light, we found another "mishap" that you cannot see with the naked eye...but you can't unsee once this light spotlights it.Then I made the mistake of shining this UV flashlight in our bathroom. Holy Guacamole! What is all this stuff? In the sink. On the floor. And definitely don't point this near your toilet unless you have a good gag reflex. Son of a beehive! I know I occasionally "sprinkle when I tinkle," but if they had a scene like this on CSI, it would be proceeded by a trigger warning.Others have suggested it and I can't agree more. If you ever want to go on a vacation again, do NOT bring this with you to your hotel room or VRBO. You might be tempted to put on a SAW movie just to cleanse your palate.All that said, this flashlight does what it promises...as well as haunting your dreams.

Works as advertised, which led to an awkward conversation with the mother-in-law about dog-sitting. Hasn't bailed me out of that ordeal yet, but we're building a body of evidence!

This light was super easy and fast to charge up.I like that I do not need batteries ; that is a big plus.It's small enough to fit in my pocket and provides a very bright blue light.I was shocked to find what it revealed.If you are looking for a good way to inspect your home for cleanliness this shows things you won't see in regular light.A few things I noticed. I used it in the garden to see if I could spot the tomato green hornworms.While I did not spot any worms I noticed how the younger leaves of plants lit up much more vividly than the older ones.Also that many things lit up brightly while others appeared red. Not sure what all that means but I really like being able to see things stand out that I wouldn't normally notice.The blue flashlight is handy, durable and easy to use; I would recommend it.

The light came all charged up and I put it to work right away. We have recently had several dog friends who visited with their families, and I was suspicious that there may have been some “accidents” in the guest room. I am horrified to see exactly how many “accidents” there have been! It was particularly shocking to learn that the urn painted by my grandmother has been used as a fire hydrant! This light was amazing, showing it all clearly. I don’t think the can of pet stain remover I bought will be enough. I’m probably going to have to pay to have the carpet cleaned. So this handy 9.99 light is going to end up costing about $200. But I’m so happy to have it and to have learned what I have learned even if I didn't want to know it!
