NOT Coats and Clark thread
The picture shows thread with a true Coats and Clark label. What you will get is not made by Coats and Clark. They have not even done a good job of faking the label. The items pictured for sale above are NOT what you are getting. Those of us who have been using Coats and Clark thread for years (62 yrs. in my case) know the difference. That said, the thread seems to be stronger than most store brands, which is not saying a lot, but it is something. It is 100% polyester, so quilting purists should steer clear of this thread.

Trusted brand.
I've used Dual Duty for many years. I still love the product, but I gave it four stars because within the past two years, quality control doesn't seem to be quite what it used to be. I find flaws in the thread, such broken fibers and breaks in the strand that don't feed smoothly through the needle on my sewing machine. In a 400yd spool I often end up having to snip the thread and re-thread my machine about two times per spool due to flaws in the strand that won't feed through the needle or actual breaks in the strand where it isn't continuous.

Love this thread
Mostly use it for hand sewing, buttons, mending and hemming. I use grey, rose and lavender as part of my fix all mending basket, but sometimes one needs black or white. And we'll Amazon was dead on

Different
Not the same packaging. Thinner and weaker thread than the usual spools I buy in store.

I recommend it
Pretty good, not extremely heavy duty but it’s a good quality.

Don't buy this. It will jam your machine
If you're hand sewing feel free. But if you have a machine this thread will ***k it up over and over again.
