Global GS-10 - 5 1/2 inch, 14cm Cheese Knife

Absolutely dominating! Iv owned tons of cheese knifes, to the point I though I might never find one I liked, Cutco came close, but at 120 bucks with a cheap plastic handle, no thank you. But this knife, it is perfect at doing precisely what it says. And it's all stainless construction is not only beautiful, but very practical. Love it, still a touch bit expensive, but then of course, it is the best one there is.

Like most great products, the Global cheese knife "just works." It's sharp enough to cut even the hardest cheese. The cutouts work great for letting it slide through even semi-soft cheeses, but it never felt flimsy. The handle shape lets you put all the pressure you need on the blade without cramping your hand. It maintains an edge very well and has survived countless dishashing cycles. As with all our Global knives, this one will be in our kitchen for good.

If you love cheese this is the knife for you! The cheese doesn't become deformed when cut. It doesn't stick to the knife either. Plus the knife looks so impressive, I think people realize your no fool when you whip it out. Go Global!

Comfortable and easy to use design.

It is so nice to find a really sharp cheese slicer that the cheese doesn't stick to when you are trying to slice it. I haven't used it enough yet to give it a full 5 stars.

Great knife, very good for cheese and soft fruits.

Oh my god we love global knives. As much as it's possible to love cutlery without being a family of creepers, we love these knives! First off, they're gorgeous: Simple. Purposeful. No fluff. Timeless. They sell a set at MOMA. Secondly, they're balanced like you won't believe. It's like you've never held a properly balanced anything in your hand until you've held one of these. Our old Wustof Classic knives feel blade heavy and cumbersome. Thirdly, the handles are not too big. This is something my wife appreciates more than I and which definitely sets these knives apart from others. Last, holy crap they're sharp. Crazy sharp. Super super sharp. Love these knives!

Honestly, this is a GREAT cheese knife. It's ergonomic, light as a feather, functions extremely well, and is overall aesthetically pleasing. This makes the third addition to my Global set. While I prefer my various Henckel-made blades, the three Global ones do get a lot of use. Slicing mozzarella used to be a task for my low-profile Miyabi 6" chef's knife, but that task is now entirely owned by this super useful blade. This knife does NOT fit in a medium-sized slot in a knife block. It requires either a utility slot (like in mine) or a large/chef's knife slot. FYI

Love Global Knives ...now have 5 of them & this one works GREAT for slicing through those hard-to-slice foods like hard chees blocks ... easy to manipulate even with somewhat gnarled fingers ... lol. Recommended as a compliment to Basic Chef-Level Knives (home OR commercial use). Thank you!

普通のナイフでチーズを切っていた時、チーズはねっとりしているので、刃にはりついて切りにくいと感じていました。 購入後、中がすごく柔らかめのカマンベールを切ったとき、切れ味は良く、スムーズに切ることができましたが、内側の柔らかい部分が刃たくさんついてしまって、あまり良さがわかりませんでした。 でもセミハード（半硬質）チーズを切った時、刃にハリつかずとってもスムーズで違いがはっきりとわかりました。 グローバルのナイフが好きで、お迎えするのは3本目。こちらも大満足です。
