Hi it would depend on how fine your dress is ... the fabrics is a bit substantial... I would use it for a dinner occasion dress overlay for sure ... order a yd and see for yourself... bridal lace is VERY expensive, this may work for you.

58"is width,you need how long, shoulder to wrist, or shoulder to hand. Measure then order. Me I would get a yard, more is better. Now if you want a lamp chop type of sleeve, then you would need two yards. Always best to check the pattern there is a mountain of info for you.
