A good replacement for seniors with hearing issues
Our elderly relatives love their new Panasonic KX-TGU432EB cordless phones. This replaced a rather ageing BT cordless set-up that was struggling to pick up calls and was difficult to hear. The new Panasonic was a breath of fresh air, easy to hear, with ample volume adjustment, and easy call answering. They have had it for a couple of weeks and have had no complaints. Excellent value for money in a rather crowded sector.

Good telephone
Very easy to set up. Volume is good but at times need to turn up.(thats only due to my hearing issue). Answerphone is very good. With incomeing calls ,when its ringing you are told by a voice the number that is calling you. Cery pleased with this phone.

Handset failure
One of the handsets ceased working after just a year. None of the buttons functioned. I expect a great deal ore from a Panasonic product.

Panasonic cordless phones
Great set of cordless phones. Very tactile and easy to use. Love the fact you can see who is phoning and block the nuisance calls without answering. Good value for money.

Good, but no instructions
Could have been the ideal phone for pensioners (and anybody elese for that matter). Big buttons, large display for those with dodgy eyesight, as loud as you need or want, comfortable in the hand, and generally easy to set up without instructions for those familiar with setting up phones. But no wonder the item page says, that the product is "Frequently returned." It's slightly unnerving when you first plug it in, especially if you're setting up three in the same room. Out of the box it's set up to max volume and for a light to flash when receiving a call. Picture 3 phone ringing at max volume and flashing like a strobe, all at the same time. Reducing the volume's easy but the flashlight? There's no paper instruction manual included - you have to find it on the web (which isn't difficult.) You can't turn off the strobe light from any menu, instead you have to enter a code for which you will need instructions. {Menu-#-345}. Another code you might want is {Menu-#-200} which lets you answer the call without having to press the green button. The manual is 84 pages long with dozens of codes for fancy features. The two codes above were all I needed. If you're expecting a phone you can just plug in then this might achieve that but really needs a bit of tweaking to make it ideal. Having written about the negatives, I've got to say I love this phone - best one I've ever had. (By the way, my box contained a lead to connect it to a standard BT socket.)
