The best quality syringes I’ve ever used
These syringes are very durable and well-made. They survive wash after wash after wash and still look brand new. I use them for hand, feeding my parrots, and they’re wonderful for that.

The One and Only Feeding Syringe/ A must to have!!!!
I am enjoying these syringes immensely! We have special needs rabbits that have to be fed with replacement feedings for additional nutrients while recovering. I have ordered FOREVER 60cc syringes that last if lucky a week. Regular feeding syringes after just a few uses don’t glide anymore. Extremely difficult to push the food through even you try to extend with using olive oil on the plunger. I ran a across your syringes and thought I would give them a go. #1- They glide smoothly 2#very easy to push through food #3 have not lost the easy glide #4 easy to clean #5 safer to use. I know that eventually they will wear out. Am still on the first syringe and have used 33 times and it still feels like the first use. They are extremely affordable especially when you don’t have to replace every week like the typical feeding syringe. Without a doubt would recommend to anyone that have animals that need syringe feedings and will tell everyone I know. I will try and update to let you know when this one wears out. Could be a while. Thank you for your syringes! They also save your hand from the strain of trying to push food through. If a person has arthritis or carpal tunnel try these you won’t be in pain. I ordered 5 and thank you for giving me one extra. Very kind. Our rabbits thank you as well. The tip is also smoother so not so rough on the bunnies tongue or mouth. Sorry so long but so many good things about Enteral Feeding Syringes.

Overpriced on Amazon Superior to ANY rubber tipped syringe
The manufacturer explains right at the very start of their description of these syringes, that the FDA has changed what is allowable to be used for printing measurements onto syringes. The manufacturer is up front about how the markings will wear off. They even give suggestions to prolong the writing. The negative reviews written because of them fading skew the overall rating for a wonderful product. If you wash these after use you will be able to get countless uses out of them. It seems to help if I dry after washing and put the plunger back in, but air drying them with plunger and barrel separate is good. Just no dishwasher! My only complaint is that they are so terribly overpriced here. I can buy 60ml syringes from an online medical supply store for less than 60 cents each. When you’re shopping for this type of syringe, if “O ring” doesn’t find them, try “ring top”.Here on Amazon smaller capacity Baxa brand o ring syringes are available as well as Neomed. Neither of these have catheter tips though, only slip tip. Baxter Comar syringes have no ring at all. The 3ml ones are sold on Amazon.

LOOOVE BASIK Syringes, but New Design has Minor Flaws
We've been using BASIK Syringes for my mother's tube feedings for the past three years and loooove them! They're only syringes that last more than one or two meals. They're easy to keep clean and use. As of our last purchase in June 2024, the design has been upgraded slightly. The barrel is narrower, the tip is more tapered, and the plunger is slightly longer from the back of the flange to the thumb rest. We've used two out of this new package, and while not a deal breaker, the tips drip a tiny bit by the time you get it inserted into feeding tube port. The old design never dripped. Also, the excess length of the plunger makes it difficult to fill the syringe to the 60ml and be able to stretch your thumb out enough to meet the thumb rest. This means we're filling the syringe to about 50 - 50.5ml for each round. This might not be a problem for folks with larger hands, but not everyone is a large. Again, not a deal breaker, but when you're using it for meals, sometimes those extra ml's make a difference in how long it takes you to get the job done.Otherwise, they still work smoothly and last a long time. Just hope they rethink the redesign. Sometimes newer isn't better.

Tube feeding lifesaver
These syringes are great! We bought 5 of them over a year ago and they are still going strong. People are complaining that the numbers wear off...that's true with any syringe you use because of the FDA approved ink. Just put clear tape or nail polish over it and viola, problem solved. Our plunger did break off like another poster's pictures, but it doesn't hinder the functionality of the syringe. I've also never had them leak, but we feed our kiddo Real Food Blends so maybe that's why. The syringes you get from insurance are such a waste. We just reuse these everyday, soaking them in hot, soapy water at night with the rest of the syringes we use.

Plunger does not bind up
I am a volunteer with a cat rescue group, and I needed to tube-feed a cat that had an esophageal feeding tube placed due to a broken jaw. Regular rubber-ended feeding syringe plungers bind up after just a couple of uses and washings - I had to lubricate the plunger with coconut oil every time, and they would still get stuck. These do not bind up or get stuck, even after multiple uses and washing with dish liquid. I was able to draw up pureed food with one hand instead of wrestling with the syringe with both hands, and feed at a slow controlled rate smoothly, rather than having the plunger get stuck and then suddenly unstuck, pushing too much food in at once. Well worth the higher price, I recommend these very highly.

Formula/production has gotten MUCH worse!
This is the 3rd pack of these I’ve bought for tube feeding my son. The other 2 were absolutely perfect and have lasted a very long time. The last batch I got felt extremely chip and brittle, they weighed significantly less, meaning the quality of plastic was less, and 3 came chipped and broken due to the brittle cheap plastic, the ones that were not broken, LEAKED everywhere. I could not use them in any fashion, they would only pull air in when trying to pull food in and if you got any food in it you the. Couldn’t push into button bc only the air would push first. I really they hope they change whatever formula or production changes they have made back to the way it was, Oring syringes that work have made my job feeding my son so much easier than those cheap disposable ones they send.
