I’ve been using the Redmi Buds 5C for about a year now, and overall I’m very satisfied with them. The earbuds are comfortable and fit well, even during workouts. I’ve used them while running, at the gym, and even while riding, and the experience has been consistently good. The sound clarity is nice for the price, and calls/music are clear. Battery backup is also good — I don’t find myself charging them too often. Even after a year of regular use, they’re still working perfectly fine, which says a lot about their durability. Occasionally, I do feel slight discomfort if I wear them for a very long time, but it’s rare and not a dealbreaker. Considering the price and performance, these are a solid choice and great value for money. I wouldn't recommend it for gaming, you have better options for that but if you want something which is perfect for everyday use then go for it. The app itself is good too.

I have been using the Redmi Buds 5C for a few months and suddenly the charging case stopped closing properly. Because the lid doesn’t close, the earbuds do not charge, making them completely unusable. This is clearly a manufacturing defect in the case design. Even after taking it to the service center and waiting many days for a replacement, the replacement unit also had the same problem again. That means the issue is not one-time — but a product quality flaw. Very disappointed with the durability and build quality. I wasted my time in warranty claims and still did not get a reliable product. Not recommended at all. Please avoid this and choose a more durable brand.

Overall 4.3 star (updated before it was 4.6 ⭐ )could have given 5 star but not giving because of following reasons given below: Noise cancellation: 4.5 stars ⭐. It is great isolates environment noice very well but because it is 40db so not completely but still does very good job cancels 60-80% of environmental noice and dont go for >40db if your priority is anc but sometimes there's a lag in anc transparency modes i mean it sometimes switch to anc to off or off to transparency or from anc to to transparency means switches from any of these modes but only while you are travelling and there are so many curves or you are moving or shaking your head and body so much but its not a big deal cause it come back to same mode after 2-3 seconds (max). Fit: 4.8 stars ⭐. My ears are medium size and medium sized tips which were on it were perfectly fitting in my ears but my siblings were facing a little difficulty while wearing it cause their ear size is very small but for normal peoples like it will fit excellently and these doesn't falls from ears easily you have to try very hard to make them fall. Mics: 4.6 stars ⭐. mics are fantastic feels like you are talking on phone like we normally do. Touch control: 3.5 stars ⭐. Touch controls are the thing where they lag they work normally on clicking once but dont do well when you do double or triple tap but work fine on single tap which i use for voice up/down. Durability: ? Stars ⭐. I have ordered them recently so i dont know about the durability much but will update this section after. Connectivity: 5 stars ⭐. Connects very fast as soon as i open the case if my bluetooth is on. Volume control: 5 stars ⭐. As i mentioned before volume control works really well. Sound quality: 4.8 stars ⭐. Sound quality is immersive and crispy. Bass is good, trebble is good overall i liked the music quality if you like to listen to listen all musical instruments than Equalizer might help (in xiaomi buds app) 'if your priority is bass than you should look for other options too'. Gaming quality: ? Stars ⭐. I am not a gamer so i don't know much about it. Transparency mode : 4.9 stars ⭐. It is also very good looks like you are not wearing any buds and listening directly to your surroundings. Build quality: 3.7 stars ⭐. Build quality is decent. Get scratches easily i got scratches within 2 days so you will have to handle it carefully and it becomes more serious cause there's no case available on amazon for this model and there's a gap where the lid is attached you can see in photo (where redmi is written just above that where lid is attached) so some dust particles can enter very easily after some and water damage can happen due to that opening and may be this could be the reason why some customers were complaining about it not working after 2 months 3 months so you will have to handle it carefully and try to get a case for it. In hand feel: 5 stars ⭐. Feels quite premium especially when we look at price point. Comfortability: 4.7 stars ⭐. Feels quite comfortable while wearing and dont hurt even when you lay on bed while wearing due to their small size. Battery: 5 stars ⭐ (may update this section). So far i have liked the battery i havent charged them yet since i have opened the box its been 2 days. But will update this section in future. All the above points i have discussed are according to the proce point of the product i bought these @1799 inr. 1 month update: ok so its been 1 month using these buds and now i am facing some minor issues like when i am using transparency mode or anc mode it switches to another the anc mode switches to transparency mode (not full but you can easily know that it has switched to transparency ) but this happens after using anc or transparency at least for 1.5 hours and after it switches to transparency it will stay to transparency mode for 1-2 minutes and will come back to anc itself and after 10 minutes it will again come back to transparency and cycle will continue and the time it stays in anc mode decreases for how long you keep anc mode turned on and the time for it stays in transparency (while u r using anc mode) shows minor changes and it is same for transparency mode it will switch to anc mode (about 10-15db anc) and cycle continues just same as in anc mode that's why i use only off mode no transparency and anc mode 5 2 month update: Working well that anc transparendy problem still there and everything ok a downside i am now facing is that when someone opens his bluetooth it gets interfered and get distorted or sometimes wont work at all and work if you put earbuds back in case and repair again i didn't gave it much time to get fixed everytime i just put buds back in case and use it, it happens only when a big bluetooth device like speaker in car turns on and is not paired and it got a little more scratches than before usually not so visible until you look closesly due to all this i am lowering my rating to 4.3⭐ star thats it and everything fine 3 months update: ? 6 months update: ? 1 year update: ? 2 year update: ? 3 year update: ? for the price, its good, very good. not like the high quality ones but it does the job, bought it for my old man n he loved it. sound quality is also fair, have the features which is handy. its quite a degrade for him as he was using the airpods pro but the compatibility is also nice. it works, and google fast pair, the only reason i chose this one. for that im giving out the 5/5. well done xiaomi. instant connectivity. wow!

Defective product received. Left airbud is not working from the moment it was received. I have been trying to replace or return the item. But there amazon is not allowing to replace the product even the its applicable in replacement policy. There's no contact for customer service or no help provided by Amazon. It's shocking to see such poor service from Amazon even after being a prime user. Totally wasted money for trusting amazon.
