The items were just as advertised and of good quality!
I have made alterations to two Black and Decker Workmates which I’ve had for years! Having little or no room to move in an almost-full-shed, I decided to hang some of my tools from the rafters. I now have one of my ‘B&D Workmates’ suspended up high, leaving me more floor space. With a couple of hooks now screwed into 8mm RIVNUTS, one Workmate is up out of the way; another will follow shortly. I wish I had thought about using them years ago. I shall be investing in more of them. I’ve made a tool for afixing them, too! Excellent product and excellent price. Good delivery service...just as promised. Will buy again!

Very good product ,try them they’re great .
I like this product because if you do the job properly not drill the holes to big and put holes in a solid structure the rivet nuts will hold the component you are trying to secure will hold very firmly. Also I have used them before on shelving in my works van and they are still standing. Top stuff, good luck to any body trying them out.

Rivnuts ...Perfect for my tailgate strut mounts.
The tailgate struts on my VW Golf Estate screw into a 'mount' integrated into the body-shell's tailgate opening. These mounts had rusted away and so the tailgate struts weren't properly fixed at the top.Someone suggested rivnuts, so on a punt I bought these to replace the mounts. I didn't buy any special tools to fit these, I just did the 'bolt, washer and 2 nuts-thing' on YouTube.Hey presto! The sleeves compressed evenly, and was a really nice tight fit onto the metal pressing inside the tailgate strut top mount.Thus far the struts work flawlessly, and these rivnuts show no sign of losing their grip. Phew!

Buy a Pack.
Great invention. So handy when it comes to double skinned areas of your car etc.. Removes the need to get your welder mate to repair the part where you've ripped out or lost the "captive nut". These things have so many uses, buy a pack, no need to buy the tool, found a better result with a high tensile bolt and nut, a couple of washers and a spacer!
