Recommended by Harvard Medical this is the best entry level electric toothbrush for you add to your arsenal. A few important considerations you would want to keep in mind to get the most out of it:1) HYGIENIC USAGE TO AVOID MOULD: You need to take apart & rinse the foam off the brush after every use, leave the head as well as the handle to air dry outside to avoid growth of mould from moisture that gets trapped in spots you cannot reach if the brush isn’t opened up. If you’re lazy and just throw your brush around in your bathroom, this is not for you. I’ve gotten used to this ritual after every use and just leave both parts to air dry in a glass and have never faced any issues with mould.2) PAIR WITH A SOFT MANUAL TOOTHBRUSH FOR COMPLETE CLEANING: This does not completely replace a manual toothbrush. I still use a regular manual toothbrush followed by my IO3 and my teeth feel the best they have. One does not replace the other. The iO3 can reach spots your manual toothbrush cannot, and guides you on the perfect pressure to apply to your teeth. Another friend I recommended this to and started using it was advised by his dentist to not give up manual brushing during his checkups. I have found the best solution is to employ both methods to cover all aspects of cleaning your teeth. My teeth have felt the healthiest, cleanest and brightest since I have combined both.3) BRUSH HEADS NEED TO BE REPLACED EVERY 3 MONTHS: They’re readily available on Amazon however this will be a recurring cost, so keep that in mind. Still cheaper than paying thousands at the dentist, so the cost is worth it.4) DOES NOT HAVE FAST CHARGING LIKE THE IO8/9: I tend to leave it overnight for a 0 - 100 charge so it’s not a problem for me, but something to keep in mind for your daily usage. If you can go for the next model, I would recommend it for the screen as well as the fast charging.

I was using an Oral-B Pro before this, which was okay, but the iO 3 is a completely different experience. I was really impressed when I first bought it, and I’m still just as happy with its performance.The only downside is that the replacement brush heads aren’t very easy to find. And when you do find them, they may be available in a different colour, if that matters to you.

l've always hated the feeling of plaque buildup, but since using the Oral-B iO3, that's no longer an issue. The brush does such a thorough job of cleaning my teeth, and I love how I get feedback on whether l'm brushing too hard.My gums feel so much healthier, and the round brush head design seems to really reach into places my old toothbrush couldn't. It's also pretty easy to use, and the three modes give me options depending on what I need that day.If you're looking for a toothbrush that actually makes a difference.

Good product, just would want a extra brush head with it and the battery goes down very fast, you all need to fix that too

I've had this toothbrush since March 2026 and have previously had their older model Oral B toothbrush which lasted me for over 4 years. This iO model is awful, impossible to clean properly and grows mould inside the handle and on each toothbrush no matter how much I clean them both and in what. Awful design compared to the original. Would not buy again and will need to buy a new one purely due to being unable to clean this one to a good standard due to the design of it. Also thr heads I keep purchasing I need to change monthly if not more often. Money wasted.

Great tooth brush but the charger lead is quite short and there are no 'built in' aftermarket chargers for this product. The charger male part is a different shape fromthe older modles

I had the cool environmentally friendly toothbrush that’s become all the rage in recent years but it just wasn’t doing the job on plaque build up. It did look pretty though.This is a much more robust brush and actually makes my teeth feel cleaner. I wish it was more environmentally friendly but I want to keep my teeth for a little bit longer.
