TECHSHARE Garage Hooks, 12 Pack Heavy Duty Wall Hooks, 4 Sizes Storage Hooks for Garden Tools, Sports Equipment, Garage Organization

I purchased a similar set to this a couple of years ago from a well known diy store and got 30 hooks for the same price, unfortunately 27 of them were absolute rubbish and totally unusable. This set is worlds apart on quality and usability. All of the hooks are made from the same thickness steel and have a fairly substantial mounting plate spot welded to them, not like some I have seen which appear to have been made by someone who is learning to use a mig welder. They are neatly painted/coated and the pvc coating is uniform and tidy. All of the backing plates have a choice of two sizes of hole, I assume to give a choice of screw sizes for mounting to a wall. They are supplied with screws, wall plugs and what appear to be plaster board fixings although the screws and wall plugs seem rather light duty for the intended use and I am not sure I would like to hang too much weight on a plasterboard wall. Other than that nocely made and a good assortment for the price.

Excellent set of good quality hooks. Substantial enough to hang almost anything in the garage, shed or workshop. I have a lawnmower, a small table saw and a bike hung up with no bending of the hooks. Supplied with decent quality fixings for use on all types of surfaces. If there is a better value set out there, I've not found them.

I’ve been decluttering the house. Now the garage is on my radar. And these are an excellent assortment of different-sized hooks to hold a variety of my tools. On my plaster walls, they won’t hold as heavy items as on wood or brick but should carry between 10 and 20 lbs of weight. That’s fine to get items like my garden hose and hedge trimmer off the floor.The attached back plate gives me confidence they will secure my tools to help me tidy up my garage. I am impressed with this versatile range, which also comes with screws and wall plugs to fit into the pre-made holes. They are better than other hooks I’ve used in my garage before and I can see plenty of uses for them.

I have this exact set of hooks already holding things up in my garage, bought a few years ago.I needed a few extra hooks for some pending things and future expansion.These are exactly the same size, shape and design as my old ones, except they are a different colour.I very particularly ordered the black variety, and my order still says 'black', but the ones which arrived were orange !!This is disappointing, and is presumably due to mis-labelling in the factory.That aside, the hooks cover a wide set of hanging scenarios, from lawnmowers to sledgehammers.There are 2 large, 2 medium, 5 small, and 3 curved hooks in the pack.They are screwed to the walls using the supplied screws and wall plugs. The screws are just about sufficient, but I often use upgraded larger screws and wall plugs bought independently, as they will be safer holding heavier loads.A number of plasterboard (drywall) plugs are also supplied, but I would be very cautious about putting these hooks up on plasterboard. It would likely not be strong enough to hold the kinds of things which you would want to put on them.If I had been sent the correct colour of hooks, I would happily award 5 stars, but the wrong colour is significant for me, as they will not blend in seamlessly with the set already in my garage. So, a good product, unfortunately sent with the wrong colour. 4 Stars.

I've bought a lot of heady duty wall hooks that were anything but and often poorly finished. These are a little more expensive but the moment I received them the weight indicates they're better than the average ones.Each hook is basically the applicable hook design spot welded to a common design and size of wall mount. Not only is the wall mount well attached, but the use of a common size means it's easy to change hooks at a later date.The four different size hooks is a good mix, not too large like some and the silicone sleeves are a tight fit so no coming off when removing items.Fittings are provided as well and they're good quality and the black screws is a nice touch to blend in the with brackets.

Very substantial set of garage hooks, well deserving of the ‘heavy duty’ claim in the advert.There is a good range of shapes and sizes, with thee hanging surface well protected by the plastic sleeve, which does not look like it would come off easily at all, unlike similar hooks have tried in the past.Supplied with a good range of fixings – standard wall plugs and plasterboard wall plugs, the screws are adequate for the smaller brackets but the larger brackets would benefit from longer / thicker screws to get the full benefit from the strength of the brackets.A possible reservation is that the actual hook is a separate piece to the wall fixing plate, looks to be welded together, other heavy duty brackets I have, the screw goes through the hook into the wall, so there is no possible way they could pull apart. These look well made so don’t think that would happen, but it is a potential issue if they were heavily loaded.Plenty of uses these can be put to, to tidy up your garage / workshop / shed space!

This large pack of assorted garage hooks has been incredibly helpful in the garage.The hooks seem nice and heavy duty and can cope easily with the weight of standard garden tools.The back plates can be screwed or bolted/coach bolted to surfaces easily with the variety of mounting holes.Powder coating seems good quality and don't have any concerns over rusting etc. yet.

Very pleased with these hooks. They seem very well made and robust - not bad for a tad over £1 per hook. There is little to add, so far at least, as it's a pretty uncomplicated thing!Recommended.
