this is a really nice full bodied coffee. its rich and slightly nutty.

The Bacha Coffee Elephant Queen Fine Blended preground coffee beans arrive in a latch container inside of a box. The container is quite attractive and I'll probably continue to use it to store other coffee once this one is gone. With any new coffee I usually try different brewing methods such as espresso and pourover, but since this was preground and too largely ground for espresso I resorted to pourover only. Overall, this makes a very approachable cup of coffee with little bitterness and I did quite enjoy it for what it is. Have I had better coffee than this? Entirely. But it's good for what it is. My only complaint is that it is very poor value as it's priced even more expensive than other highly sought after varieties that deliver superior flavor. Perhaps most of the cost is in the packaging, but I wish they were more transparent.

The package came in nicely and the tint can is very elegant. The coffee is very fine and to me it was okay quality. It’s not as strong as I would like for arabica coffee. The smell when opening the can is strong and attractive but the taste is lacking for me for some reason. It’s quite expensive for the amount.

I'm a died in the wool coffee drinker. I enjoy a cup here and there through the day, so when I saw this boutique coffee, I was intrigued. At $42/8 oz., ($84/lb.) it is something I wouldn't normally order, but I did out of curiosity just to see what it would be like. I chose the Elephant Queen roast, which seemed to be close to what I normally enjoy, and I was impressed with the ornate packaging and metal storage tin once I opened the box. The aroma was fabulous. Nutty, with a little hint of mocha. It is a fairly fine grind, so it will work well with different brewing systems, just weigh out your normal amount and go. I heated up some water and made a cup using the pour-over method, my usual style. The flavor was clean, clear, and distinct. It definitely has the nutty aroma, as mentioned in the product description, plus an underlying complexity that made for a very satisfying cup. All this said, I don't think I'd buy this based on its high price, but I will consider ordering more for a gift for someone's birthday, holiday, or host, because it's definitely high quality and unforgettable.

Really enjoying this! Great medium roast taste, very nice finely ground size (using it in my espresso machine), and the storage canister it comes in is awesome! Will happily continue using this for storage once this coffee is gone. Zero complaints at all - very good coffee.

This one comes already ground, which makes it even easier to enjoy — and the flavor is just as amazing as you’d expect from Bacha Coffee. The container is absolutely gorgeous, making it feel extra special, and the taste is rich, smooth, and full-bodied. Loved everything about it!
