no more leaning against random things
I picked up this stool because my old chair in the garage was wrecking my back. Every time I worked on something low, I was hunched over like a gremlin. I wanted a seat that could roll and spin without feeling like it would dump me on the floor. This one looked sturdy enough to handle my weight and my bad posture. So I figured it might save my back a little. Putting it together was pretty simple and did not take long. The height adjustment works smooth, which is nice when I go from working on a bike to a bench. The swivel is solid and lets me turn around without doing that awkward shuffle. The backrest actually helps more than I expected. I found myself sitting longer without feeling sore. The cushion is firm but comfortable enough for garage work. I would not nap on it, but it beats sitting on a bucket. It feels stable when I lean or twist, and it does not feel cheap. The wheels roll fine on my concrete floor, though they can pick up some dirt. Still, it moves around easy and does what I need. There are a couple small downsides. The stool is a bit heavy, so carrying it around is not fun. Also the seat could be wider if you are a bigger guy. But overall it has made working in the garage way more comfortable. I would say it is a solid choice if you want a reliable stool without spending crazy money.

What do you get the man that has everything??
What do you get a 78-year-old man that has everything? This perfect chair! Small thing to think about is the functionality of this not being on wheels. Being 78 years old wheels are not good. When he goes to sit down it can roll out from beneath him. I love that this is very sturdy and stays in place. It was extremely easy to put together and is good quality. The box was pretty heavy so know that it is quality. Definitely good for a garage workstation.

Solid
Easy to install, sturdy, comfortable, and easy adjust. The height changes smoothly, the seat swivels 360°, and the backrest makes longer jobs more comfortable. I really like the foot bar It feels solid and stable. Its perfect for my garage.

Good and bad.
The unit seems to be as advertised. Very solid base and held my 260lbs easily. But. The bolts are harder to get through the holes than one would think. You have to wiggle the legs and really squeeze them to get the bolts through. This is true for all the bolts. I even tried to even the holes with a tapered punch. Not much help. The wrenches supplied are junk. If you have a metric set, have it handy. A 14mm fits the head of the bolt but I think the nut is 13mm. I didn't have a 13 and a 12 was to small to fit the nut. The supplied wrenches are very short and hard to hold on to. Dropped numerous times. Attaching the seat back. I could find no holes in the seat base. I even tried to use a magnet to find the tee-nuts without any luck. After about 20 minutes, my wife came in to investigate the noises!!!!! She looked for about another 10. I finally gave up. I need the chair so will not send it back. It's better with no back than no chair. Maybe I'll simply put in an expansion nut in later and have the seat back.

Solid stool that I like, but comes with assembly and leveling challenges.
It’s a solid stool once assembled and adding 3rd party leveling feet. As other customers said in reviews, assembly was a bit of a wrestling match with screwdrivers to help prod holes into alignment. The vendor independently emailed instructions post purchase offering tips and help. That was nice. Once assembled the stool was not level. One foot was off by half inch or so. Separately I bought a set of 24mm leveling feet and made the correct adjustments. Viola, a sturdy and comfortable stool that works. Phew.

makes it easier for me to work
A very good mechanical chair, the quality of the materials used is very strong and sturdy, this mechanical chair can also be adjusted in height and can also rotate 360 so it really makes it easier for me to work, besides that what makes me happy is because the price is very affordable.

Great quality but hard to assemble
Quality of the chair is pretty good and its pretty sturdy and comfortable (hence the 5 stars) But assembling it was a major pain. The chair comes with locking nuts and tightening those were extremely hard. Tried using the supplied hand tools but was getting nowhere, so hopefully if you are buying this product, you have a drill and nut driver on-hand because you will most certainly need them.
