I have been loving my AOSU cameras I started with the 4 pack and dock and have been slowly adding different cameras to the system and use memory cards for the storage. They are easy to setup, connect to wifi and your AOSU account and with the memory card you can easily review footage, and save any videos. The quality of the videos vary depending on what camera you get. Once your memory is full you can easily erase your SD card through the app without worrying about dismantling your cameras. They have been put through strong winds, rain, dust storms, and heat and they keep working without issues. The solar charging makes it even easier to not worry about them being charged or not. Occasionally you do get the bugs or dust in the lens, or occasional spider that lives on them other than that we have been very happy with the quality of hardware, video, and ease of installation. This particular unit you have to charge occasionally it will let you know when the battery is running low, but the quality is very nice, the camera does not rotate on this model. You can easily remove the doorbell to charge by pressing the tab at the bottom and push the unit up to bring it out of his holder. We usually charge it overnight and by the morning it is ready to go again for a few weeks.

This Aosu Doorbell Camera Wireless- Head-to-Toe View, 2.4GHz WiFi Video Doorbell is far superior to the others i have used in the past. I was excited to say the least when i read the great reviews posted for this product. I used another doorbell and cam company for about 2-3 years , (Ring) and was so fed up with it constantly being dropped from my home network, not getting a clear image at night, & delayed notifications I decided to research other DIY video doorbells and cameras. The Aosu was a good price, has cloud storage available and actual 24/7 support available. Could not wait to get it set up. That process is EASY and SEEMLESS. Charged the device fully before installation. I have a brick house so we had to use a hammer drill, but once that was taken care of, scanned the barcode and off we go. The doorbell image is quite remarkable. The colors are bright, vibrant and crystal clear, it’s hard to believe you are watching it through a lens. You can see in my video how far if a distance/ range you will get from this little doorbells camera! You can set up night vision in either black and white or the color. The video gives head to toe images from any zone you set and has a VERY wide angle to capture EVERYTHING you want to see when someone is approaching your home. You can set up "package" alerts, when one is dropped off or picked up, as well as persons. The app offers for you to name certain faces/individuals that come to your home regularly!! Genius idea....this way you immediately know who or if it is a stranger. I set up the option to receive a phone call when someone rings the doorbell because i don't always notice the vibration notification of my smart watch if it was pushed. I had no problems connecting to my WiFi, even though the distance between them is pretty far, to the point my old doorbell was constantly disconnecting from the network. There is a plethora of features offered in the app, it i so much more advanced than i imagined it to be. You can also reply with a prerecorded answer to the doorbell AND it has a bottom "tone" to let you disguise your voice to answer for strangers. I also appreciate the affordability of the doorbell and monthly plan options to choose from. So much to offer in their products, you will not be disappointed going with Aosu. I am def going to be a lifelong customer!!

’ve had a really positive overall experience with the Aosu doorbell camera. When it was working, the video quality was excellent, the app was smooth, and it gave me everything I needed in a smart doorbell at a great price point. At one point, my original unit stopped working, which was frustrating, but I was genuinely impressed with how their customer support handled it. It took a little time, but they stayed responsive throughout the process and ultimately sent me a brand new replacement. That level of follow-through really shows they stand behind their product. Since receiving the replacement, everything has been working perfectly again. It’s rare to find a company that not only offers a solid product but also backs it up with real support when something goes wrong. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Aosu if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable doorbell camera with a company that takes care of its customers

The doorbell is a great option in a world full of video doorbells. It’s on the cheaper side. But does not sacrifice the value of having the option to record and look at a live video. I find the video recordings quality to be good. You have the option to upgrade the storage by putting in a different SIM card. The battery lasts a while. It comes with its own app. The only dislike I have is the motion detection range. I find it very inconsistent. And as someone who lives on a somewhat busy street, i find it catching the cars going by sometimes, even when i mess with that setting. It’s very hard to find that balance.

First off - I don’t enjoy giving low star reviews so I attempted to reach out to the seller 4 days ago expressing my concerns and have not heard back - so I will proceed with expressing them here and plan to return this item. First off I’ll start with the good… The price for this doorbell I think is pretty reasonable although a quick search of other video doorbells reveals that this price point is almost average nowadays. But I ended up going with this one because it claims to be head to toe view And has all these cool features and claims to not require a subscription and so on. So another positive is that the set up was pretty easy. That’s where the positives end for me. Now again I realize this isn’t a super expensive video doorbell camera, but I at least expect it to do what it says it’s going to do. While it claims to not require a subscription you basically need a subscription if you want to capture any video whatsoever of people coming up to your door unless you want to open the app and have it live streaming 24 hours a day and be looking at your phone 24 hours a day. So there’s that. I decided to try the free trial and see if it’s worth the subscription… Let me save you the suspense and trouble. It’s not worth the money. Half of the time maybe even more than half of the time it doesn’t even capture whatever motion is occurring outside of my front door. I get alerts all the time telling me there’s motion, but then there’s absolutely no recording whatsoever of whatever was causing that motion. So then what is the point? The video it does capture is very segmented. It doesn’t capture the entire length of interaction with the person coming up to your door. So for example, someone comes up to your door and drops off a package it might catch the person as they’re walking away, but completely misses a whole chunk of them coming up to your door putting the package down and anything else they may have done. I find this really troubling because the whole point is I want to be able to capture any suspicious activity outside of my door. Isn’t that the whole point? So I’m really disappointed with the delay in recording. Speaking of delay once you get an alert and you try to open the app to see what’s going on. It takes a while not super long, but it does take a little bit to actually get to the part where the video is open and you’re able to see what’s going on. Sometimes it shows a little snippet and it’ll show a person outside the door like just walking away and then when I open the video, it shows absolutely nothing so it’s like what happened to that person? There are so many issues as far as I’m concerned with the video recording aspect of this which is basically the whole point of this product. The other complaint I have is with the so-called package Detection they have a feature that is supposed to verbally state package detection or package pick up detected I guess if they think someone is picking up your package? But so far it seems like almost every time I come home and just open the door and go inside my house. The thing goes off and says package pick up detected package pick up detected. I have no idea what the basis is for deciding that a package has been picked up, but clearly it is faulty and incorrectly alerts you that a package has been detected and is being picked up. All in all, I don’t see the point of this doorbell camera and I would suggest to anyone thinking about purchasing this to look elsewhere.

Bought to replace our POE camera before selling our house but did not expect to be this impressed. Bang for buck? Absolutely. Setup was easier than I anticipated* and I ended up having to wait 24 hours to finish installing because I couldn’t find a masonry drill bit. My particular application required it to cover the old POE Rj45 cable sized hole in the brick, and thus did require new holes be drilled. Once I got the appropriate bit, mounting it was a snap - then I realized that I was going to need a wedge so it could see the whole porch instead of the corner. That’s where my 3d printer and a free doorbell wedge file in makerspace (for a different asou model, but worked for this, and I was willing to modify if necessary.) and viola! It’s amazing and it’s making me rethink my former winning video doorbell a lot. The only reason I’m still thinking is because the asou doesn’t have a desktop app and can’t join my NVR for storing files - only the sd. I like having a monitor that shows my cameras and a local storage/playback device, but I absolutely recommend this to anyone! There are so many mounting options and you don’t have to drill to mount if you don’t want to. The view is amazing! I am extremely impressed at this price point. I’ve used far more expensive options that didn’t wow me _at all_. Pictures are - just installed - no wedge; with wedge + lights on, after dark; night mode (b&w) and what it looks like with the 3d printed wedge. (I used abs because: Texas) * (years upon years of IT has taught me nothing is easy)

I’ve been using the Aosu doorbell camera for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really happy with it. The video quality is sharp both during the day and at night, and the wide-angle view covers my entire front porch, which gives me peace of mind. The motion detection works well and sends alerts quickly, though it can occasionally be a bit sensitive and pick up minor movements like passing cars. Installation was straightforward, and the app is user-friendly, making it easy to review footage or communicate through the two-way audio feature. I also appreciate that it offers local storage options, which helps avoid monthly subscription fees. The only downside is that the app can lag slightly at times when loading live video, and I wish the motion detection settings had a bit more customization. Overall, it’s a solid and reliable doorbell camera with great value for the price.

We bought this camera after a package was stolen from our front door and although the camera quality is great, unfortunately connectivity is very poor. Anytime we get an alert of any motion detection, it takes FOREVER to connect to the camera, sometimes prompting it to go from its 2K HD mode to its lower quality smooth mode for quicker access. We also have the camera set to a high sensitivity so that we can get alerted on the moment it detects motion but we have tested it out ourselves and we have stood in front of the camera for several seconds without detecting us and then us walking away and it finally detecting motion and by the time the camera gets checked there was no sign of us even standing in front of the camera the entire time. The camera is easy to set up, had no issues with connecting it to our wifi, it is sturdy and we have found that even at its highest sensitivity, it has a good battery life. We typically go about 3 weeks to a month until we are having to recharge it, which we like. The camera also has many setting features that would be great if detection actually was possible or immediate. It’s night vision is also good . Sound quality is great when finally connected to the camera but when it’s time talk to someone through it, unfortunately it is very laggy and sometimes very choppy. The camera also has it’s own cloud storage service but it is NOT required for use like some other cameras. I think this service would be great if the camera wasn’t so laggy to connect to. I will include that I ended up buying my dad a $30 camera that works just as good as this one without the connection lag it has. His camera instantly connects without any issues or lags. There are way cheaper cameras that will absolutely connect much faster than this one, with just about the same good quality of image. Overall, the functionality is good, connectivity is laggy at best, it has a great battery life and for the price, there are cheaper cameras with better connectivity than this one. The features on this camera would be awesome if you could actually connect to the camera upon notification. For these reasons I can only provide a 3 star rating.

This exceptional support is a major reason I continue to choose AOSU and add more of their devices to my home. The doorbell camera provides a 170° ultra-wide angle and a 9:16 vertical view, which ensures comprehensive coverage of my porch. I can easily see visitors from head to toe without any blind spots, and it even captures someone approaching the door from a distance. The 2K full HD clarity is exceptional, offering crisp and clear video quality that allows me to see every detail of what's happening at my front door, both day and night. One of my favorite features is the ability to record videos without a mandatory subscription. I can use a memory card to store recordings and access them directly through my phone. For those who prefer secure cloud storage, AOSU offers economical plans. The notifications and alerts are real-time, with a call triggered to the mobile app on any phone where it is installed. This is a great feature if you need to monitor the area closely to avoid missing any live push notifications. I currently prefer standard push notifications and was able to adjust the detection settings to reduce false alerts triggered by animals or moving shadows. The AOSU Doorbell Camera integrates seamlessly with my Alexa device, allowing me to view live videos from all my cameras simultaneously through the AOSU app. The two-way voice function is incredibly convenient, enabling me to speak to visitors in real-time, even when I’m not at home. This feature was particularly useful with my main door camera, where visitors had to keep their heads up to talk to me. With this doorbell camera, communication is much more convenient. The camera comes with a chime, a charging cord, a camera wedge kit, and an instruction manual. The initial setup was super easy, taking less than a minute with the AOSU app. The chime offers a variety of audio options to choose from. However, one recommendation would be to include all the audio options in the AOSU app to make it quicker and easier to select new bell sounds. Overall, the AOSU Doorbell Camera Wireless is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their home security without incurring ongoing subscription fees. It offers comprehensive coverage, smart detection features, and high-quality video, all while integrating smoothly with other smart home devices. I highly recommend this product for its reliability, clarity, overall value, and superb customer service.

Battery last only 2 days, wifi range is not good for villa, not recommended

I’ve been using the AOSU Wireless Doorbell Camera for about a month now, and honestly, it has been a really good purchase for the price. Installation was simple, the video quality is clear both during the day and at night, and the head-to-toe view is surprisingly useful for seeing packages left at the door. The motion detection works well without sending too many unnecessary alerts, and the included chime is loud enough to hear across the house. One thing I really like is that it offers local storage, so there’s less pressure to pay for another monthly subscription. Battery life has also been solid so far. Overall, this feels like a great value compared to some of the more expensive doorbell cameras on the market.

I'm really happy about how this is working. I simply put in a MICRO SD card rather than use a cloud subscription. I originally expected to use an SD card that I already had, but bought a good sized brand name micro SD after I received the doorbell and wound up spending about $50 on it. Video is clear, works well even at night, records when any person enters the view and doesn't get triggered by things like bugs or far away objects (and sensitivities can be set). The app is easy to use and the notifications and ringing on my phone (which I set) are working great. People don't hear me well when I speak through it sometimes so remember to set the volume high if you're using that. It even has a voice modulator which makes me sound like a male which is great. If someone rings the doorbell then when I answer the call, it's only voice when you answer so you need to manually open the app to see the video so I've got to remember that, but if you touch the notification that someone is there (I have this set all the time), then it goes straight to the video. It's really a great change in how safe I have felt since I have moved in recently and even had a porch pirate steal a package already, and my door isn't strong enough for a bar/chain lock that lets you peak out Plus then they can tell you are there, and if you're not there, the doorbell wouldn't get an answer so they may easily figure out that you are not there. When I talk through this doorbell with someone, they don't know whether I'm home or not. But somehow when I was looking at this online, I had the impression that I would only need to charge this 1-2 per year. I don't know if that is in the product info or if I was just mistaken, but I have had to charge it about every 1.5 months. And it does warn you when you watch the live video for a while that it uses a lot of battery power and prompts you to stop. I do look at all the videos and get packages often and my neighbours trigger it too, so I am may use more power than average, but had I known how often I would be charging it, I may have thought more about getting one that can be wired in the electrical system of the home instead of a rechargeable one. But it is easy to see how much charge is left on the app. Only taking a star off for having to charge often and having to buy an micro SD on top of the cost. Tip: don't install it against something on top (mine was up against the regular doorbell of my home in order to get the right height recommended. It will be hard to pop it out of the holder because you need to start higher and slide it in and you need to slide it up a litle first to get it out. There was no warning in the installation instructions about this. I used screws and I should have placed it half an inch down. Luckily unscrewing the original doorbell plate allowed me to get it in and I can charge it in place with my outdoor outlet. The bonus of this is that I don't worry about a thief just popping out the unit to make it easier to steal packages. One stole a sign that I made for delivery drivers so I could see them figuring out how to remove these.
